It's amazing... I really don't think that a lot of people are interested in this novel because it isn't modern but it is wonderful how there still are people that appreciate this peace of art. Jane Austen did a great job

I have watched this at least 10 times!! I have also watched other versions. While one has to take into account the different years, cinematic differences and actors, this is by far the best!! Kiera and Matthew are superb! You can feel the love boiling even as they argue!! So much passion!❤

When I first saw the movie I was as prejudiced as Elizabeth. I was displeased she ended up with him. But after that every time I watch it I just can't look at him. He's so precious misunderstood human being![I think in the book he wasn't quite like this. But I like this movie version Darcy,who is socially awkward and a very sweet person]
He is even better in the novel. Proud, complex and prejudiced like Elizabeth is too. However he is really socially awkward (maybe in this adaptation they interpret as shy, I am pretty sure that in the novel he is socially awkward, because I am too and I identify a lot with him), loyal, decent, amazing brother, master and friend.

@@geminithetwins Oh really. The last chapter of the novel?! I think you read it out of context. He was essentially an excellent man, but after going through a period of self-criticism he got even better in the end. One thing the film is wrong with is the idealization of him and Lizzy. Both are good people, but they have faults like all of us and the novel is about these two reassessing who they are and trying to improve, which is triggered by having met and misjudged each other. Yes! Mr. Darcy was arrogant, but he also had a hard time socializing.

Just to reaffirm that Darcy, besides being proud, is socially awkward: the scene in the movie where he admits to Lizzy that he has a hard time talking to strangers is actually in the book.
