I like the West is "helping" Ukraine by cheering them to continue the massacre for years and on and creating modern Ukrainian demograhics (may google for them), while it would've ended like Georgian conflict in 2008 in severals weeks - removal of threat to Russia and an immidiate return to common life. But the West decided to HELP. Well, I hope ukrainians will be very happy in next 50 years that this gloryfull and very meaningfull war for Ukraine had indeed happened and was not avoided by all means. @@mesiroy1234
I has been in combat is 80% luck, but that 20% of skills can maximize ur low chances of surviving.
Thank you for sharing this information on how Ukraine trains their SOF troops. I recall an infantryman mentioning that they had assisted in an op with some SOF guys. His eyes lit up and I could see the respect and admiration for them; it also seemed to galvanize the infantry that were a part of this raid. They serve their countries but they also inspire the infantry who watch how they move and how they fight. I hope the family who helped he and his teammate are still safe. Excellent work and an amazing amount of information in under 10 minutes. Slava Ukraine!

When this war broke out for some reason I thought that the Ukrainian army would be using only Soviet era equipment but as I begun to develop a better understanding of Ukraines forces I realise that this is completely the opposite. For example those NVGs are the same ones that seal team six used in the raid that killed bin laden and those thermals are extremely high quality and it's the same with ukrainian snipers, they use scopes that USA doesn't even have in service and they use rifles that are basically custom built and use a one of a kind ammo that's designed to be accurate at ranges that are just insane.
I build custom bolt rifles and highly unusual and extreme accurate AR 10s in WSM magnums and allot of my gunsmith tooling come from a company Pacific Tool & gauge then some months ago the company started to advertise contract over runs from the Ukrainian military of Remington 700 style actions and barreled actions for sale to the public.
Pacific Tool & Gauge makes their own copy of the Rem - 700 action with great modifications.
I was greatly surprised from a small Oregon company had contracts by the Ukrainian government for High end precision rifles.
As for scope I have seen in News video Ukrainians using Savage rifles with Leupold scopes with other brands of scopes.
The difference is the average american soldier is better equiped the most countries special forces while the UA is using whatever they can find. Its cool that they i vest so much into the operaters but not so cool that the rest is basically fodder
@@Lure-Benson that's very interesting, I have seen them use anti-material rifles like the snipex alligator to damage BMPs and BTRs which is badass, recently the new world record for furthest sniper kill was recorded by a sniper from the SBU using a sniper called "horizen lord" which shoots a .50 cal bullet out of larger shell with more powder. As for scopes I see them use some crazy thermal scopes, my favourite was a supressed RPK with a adjustable stock and a huge thermal scope.
@@bravozero6 that's not true, Ukraine has never used their soldiers like cannon fodder and they never will nor will any professional army that actually cares about their men, when it comes to a soldiers loadout in the Ukrainian army I have seen plenty regular soldiers with very nice kit, this is partially because most soldiers can buy stuff that they want but also because ukraine recieves and produces a lot of really high quality body armour and stuff like neck protection, you will see quality chest rigs on artillerymen even, in bakhmut wagner had a theory that ukraines men were drugged up because sometimes they would hit them in centre mass and they would fall but get up and run and this is because they were wearing quality vests that they still recieve.....a lot. Its also compulsory for infantry to carry a medical pack and during the Kherson offensive Ukraine's men had medical supplies that were newer gen than what the Americans had in service.

It is a long used Soviet 14 mm cannon cartridge.

Their military is funded and maintained by other countries, which I'm sure (or at least hope) you know by now. So..... best military in the world? Not even remotely close.

Too much of American, UK & NATO special forces training is still focussed on counter-terror SWAT-style room clearings etc. That was great for Iraq in 2005 but today training has to be for real war.
Yeah they remind me of the old school Vietnam SOG dudes who used to spend weeks behind enemy lines with no outside support other than their squad
@@user-dh9id1hz8k MACV-SOG! Exactly. That is true special forces stuff, like SAS in North Africa sneaking onto German airbases and blowing up Luftwaffe planes. Counter-terror is a huge distraction from what special forces should be training to do.
I have a pet peeve when I see US Navy SEALs in the deserts of Iraq or Afghanistan, 10,000 miles from the coast. It's like "Guys, nobody needs the Navy for this. You should be training on harbour infiltration and mini subs."

You have no clue what you are talking about if you actually WONDER who trained the instructors or who they based the structure of courses they come from US and Western european armed forces and room clearing is not outdated for “counter terror” IDF legit is majorly fighting in close quarters JUST because the ukranian environment is flatlands does not mean a tactic becomes useless as close quarters CQB is the most dangerous and this was seen in MARIUPOL IN WHICH UKRANIAN FORCES WERE PUSHED OUT.
So if you have no clue what you are talking about do not talk about it do research.
TO THIS DAY the most versatile special forces in the world and most lethal are closely American and british without the most talented along with french and south korean forces just because of knowledge tactics training equipment and experience and the majority of the gear that that guy has is FAIRLY rare as GPNVGs are not common not even in navy seal units

It was training 73 NAVY SOF REG with US Air Force in Ochakiv near Kinburn split I think so

These warriors might be the most skillful, experience and strongest military unit in the world. They have destroyed Russian special forces so hard that they loss more that half of their soldiers. Just one of the many reason Ukraine will win this war.

These extremely brave and skillful men/women. Remind me of the UK,special forces of the SAS & SBS,you need these specialist groups to win wars for sure. A hell of a lot of the assaults,these specialist forces take out goes unseen but they are carrying out daring things,assaults we wouldn't think about.SLAVA UKRAINIE!

@@thomasmckeon9683 Russia's goals are to prevent Ukrainian entry into nato, and to prevent Ukraine from renegging on the Budapest accords (rebuilding a nuclear arsenal). Russia so far has been successful with both of these goals. Russia has also realized it doesn't have to move the front line, it just has to bleed Ukraine dry of man power and wait for western enthusiasm for the war to evaporate..both of which are happening rapidly.. Russia is clearly going to win this conflict
