Wearing great so far! A bit stiffer than an average vest, but not thick enough to make it annoying. Since I'm in Southern California, I wear it as outerwear since it's not cold here, but depending where you are, you might be wearing it as a mid layer
@@sara.sofies Most definitely 🙏 There are so many different color combinations that could suit your personal preferences too, I'm noticing they offer new colors every other season or so (AND WAIT FOR THEIR SALES!)
Is the inside of the chest pocket nylon; last Patagonia retro vest I bought had nylon patch swen straight to the fleece; the chest pocket on my first retro vest was basically a nylon pouch swen to the fleece which was much better.
@@RolexBrand123 Depends on your build honestly. I have a few medium pieces and they fit me too snug now, I'm about 187lbs at the moment and large is perfect
Correct 👌 They're the same YKK zippers I have on my other Patagonia bags, jackets, and vests so I already have used them for years. I also go over the item in detail prior to recording to familiarize myself with it

great showcase man keep it up
@@kianmorabbian-dc3qw Thanks! I was wearing the blue best just yesterday
Finally someone shows the depth of a chest pocket! Really nice review👍🏼
I was super shocked on them
Thank you so much for the informative video. I think I will choose retro x instead of retro pile.
Good choice! Retro X is much more durable!
@@Striker50_ do think it is too puffy to be a mid-layer?
@@hanqinlin9837 It is a bit thicker and less flexible. Depending on how big your outer layer is, it can work
Footlong subway sandwich. Love it
Probably 2 honestly 🥖🥖
Great review congratulations
I ended up keeping the blue one 🤙
Probably going to get a black puffer next

Yes the inside chest pocket is nylon layered over the fleece itself (meaning if the nylon pocket was removed, it would all be one entire fleece vest)
