EU6 and 7 is lag fest the other are okay and community servers is the way to go. I have a server, let me know if you want me to spin it up, you can get admin if you want. the only thing you would need to do is get players on it so you have people to go up against :) But I'm guessing with your reach it wouldn't be a problem. Enjoy your content so just wanted to give something back.
I can't find omnivore
Some tips: I assume you keep getting vomit sickness from over eating, dont eat when your stomach icon is full/flashing red. Organs dont come out of AI animals (Deer, hog etc). The noise your Troodon makes after a pounce, is letting you know that you can now apply the next stage of the poison (Theres 3 stages). If you pounce before your Trood makes that noise, it will reset the stages. The third stage, the infected target now takes extra damage from pounces, and you can pounce as often as you want to maximise the damage. Sniffing will show you if a dinosaur is infected with the venom. Troods poison only becomes activate when you are an adult.
About the vomit sickness, it might be because of something he ate or other factors aside from overeating. Vomit sickness will not be displayed from overeating as it will only highlight the stomach yellow if the dino is full.
It's because he ate old carcass it was rotting
Also don't eat bones as anything unless you're a cera or deino. That's where the vomit sickness came from and you take slight damage, too.
He thrashed around a compy and organs did not come out.

The way venom works is you pounce for stage 1, when your dino makes the audio call, then you pounce again for stage 2. Your dino will make another audio call when it is time to pounce for stage 3. If you miss the timing on the pounce, the stage is reset to 1.
Once your target is in stage 3, they take MASSIVE damage from your pounce attacks.

so thrashing only works with player controlled dinos, meaning you'll only get guts out of them. and the cackle sound you hear after pouncing is the venom cooldown letting you know you can inject more.
Yea I thought as much after I finished with the stuff I was trying to thrash in this one 😂
Havent seen anybody say it, so here's some advice on how the venom works!
It has 3 stages with pounce, and a small cooldown exists that resets the venom to stage 1 if you pounce several times too quickly. You'll know the cooldown is over when a small sound is made by your troodon a few seconds after you pounce. (Groups have to obey the cooldown too, can't just all pounce at the same time.)
you can know what stage the venom is at by sniffing (green is stage 1/2, purple is stage 3).
At stage 3 all of your hits do way more damage (venom and pounce are twice as strong, bites are 3x stronger if i remember right) and the pounce cooldown is removed, so you can kill things fast after getting something to stage 3. Stage 3 only lasts for 45 seconds though unless you pounce again to extend it, so dont forget to do that!
Against any other dinosaur that isn't the murder duck I'd reccomend relying only on pounce and only biting if they sit, because you're very weak.
try beipi next, it is the 2nd best made thing in the isle besides deino. also herbivores are really fun in the isle.

The official server 6 & 7 have been having some really bad issues. Other servers were fine for me. But I'd really recommend the unofficial servers. There are some really cool semi-realism servers out there. e.g. Islander comes to mind.

Tearing the organs out is just a left click and hold, you’ll notice your look left to right seems slower, that means it’s registering, then move left to right quickly. You’ll get the hang of it

Ive finally been playing troodon lately myself it is quite fun, a group is definitely interesting as we took down a carno pretty easily lol but if like me its not always easy to find a group.

Tip: If you are a dino that is not made to eat bones you will get sick and rapid dehydration and have to take regular trips down to the watering whole (which isn't the best especially if there is a dieno lurking below) the only 2 dinos that can eat bones are the cera and the dieno.

The Venom has 4 or 5 stages I believe. The First stage you envenom the prey and jump off, then you wait till the troodons in your pack (or you if your solo) hiss like at 26:47 then you jump on and envenom it again keep doing this for 4 or 5 times until the target is highlighted in purple then stay on for as long as you can to inflict the maximum ammount of damage. (tip don't pounce on your prey before you hiss or it will set the venom back a stage.)
I am really enjoying every episode. Makes me laugh and gasp especially by the waters edge 😅
You should do a solo patchy experience! Patchy's are my favorite and I think you would have alot of fun!

I love watching Fooster play this game and would love to see him play every animal the game offers, it just too funny seeing him get into trouble, fall off cliff faces, and mysteriously break his legs. Also, I want to ask if there will be an ending video to Metro Last Light? I really liked that game but it's too scary to play myself I feel, and I don't want to watch anyone else play it 😂.
Fooster once u have pounsed the first strike wait for the troodon to make a sound that is the indicator of venom getting in the blood, there are few stages of the venom u can do to ur target and u can see the effect by sniffing u can see the colour change of the target.

I don't know if u already got it, but the temporaly infertile issue is because of your diet, if it's too bad u'll have these debuffs, reduced grow rate, health regen and stuff... Your diet gives u different buffs based on the combinations u make, the best one for growing is to full 3 different diets at the same time, the circles, and slashes and the S diet all in one, it'll give u 50% of grow rate bonus.
That's nice in-game music there right before the server crashed and right after.
I know you love your Carnos like I do, but Fooster I am DYING to see you slap as a stego 🤣
I hope they put caves for the pteranodon inside of the big arches you can go under that seems like that would be their natural habitat or a nesting place on a Cliffside
Hey Fooster, I had the same issues with server spikes and lag that you are having, so I started using unofficial servers and it's a much more stable and enjoyable experience. Once you find some good ones you should be golden.

I'm not sure whether you said rabbit, rebbit or grab it lmfao
if you pounce on your prey you've got to wait for the chirping sound that means that venom is applied there's 3 levels of venom : you can also see that the prey is shaking when venom is applied
If you tap g when you look at a corpse it pulls organs out sometimes you don’t have to thrash your camera however pressing g can be finicky at first cause you may end up just picking the corpse up entirely but if you can get organs it will only pull from the corpse

tbh if you don't want to lag so much due to ping play on an NA server or an unofficial server. They have amazing ping most of the time! Especially if you're EU, 'cause most of the people who'd normally play on NA will either be asleep or at work when you go on :D (yet there's still tons of people online during those times! Check it out!)

Unofficial servers usually don't have that lag spike you have to deal with, but these more often than not have a bunch of rules to follow
Dream video: fooster fires up his isle server, new event: clash of the titans, fooster-stego vs TacoRex, guest appearances by fisk and belle (dan) the raptors. Itd be so amazing!
I'm wondering if they will some day add quests or the ability to lay eggs and care for the babies. I feel like it can get a bit boring just growing, eating running around after a while
I believe you can be hatched if there is an egg available 🤔
Nesting is in the game as well as parental care, the babies can't eat on their own. Not so sure about quests but there will be a migration system and mutations/perks that you can gain just by doing normal dino stuff. There's an elder system coming as well as juvenile QOL stuff. There's more, but I can't remember at this time.
When you do the ripping thing in order to get organs it has to be another player, and also if its too big to do that you can attack the stomach to expose the organs
Absolutely LOVE this content. There is so much that could be done with this sort of concept. Thoroughly enjoyed the scavenger hunt and witnessing the development of this Troodon. I am hoping you continue to explore within this game. Love the content Fooster.

Glad to see your enjoying this! Troodon is a good thing to start as, but it also takes a bit to fully understand the venom mechanic.
Try a Stego next, takes a while to grow but constantly being preyed at is a whole other experience
Only Cerato benefits from eating bones as it will give them nutrients in all three. Most things eating bones get infertile debuff and such.
Hey Fooster
If you diden't know yet Cera and deinosuchus can only eat the bones of a corps! Also if you get one of every diet you get 50% growth rate. If you cant get all get two of the same and one different one that gives you 30% growth rate and Other good stuff for example, 15% healt regen/ locked or 10% stamina regen.
So try to get a good diet!
If you have vomit sickes there are salt rocks on the map. If you lick the salt by holding E the vomit sickes go's away.
