And I used to open them up after my shift at midnight and listen to the newest tunes coming out. This happened to be one of the 45s that was in the mix one night. It still as good as it was then.
This video is my ultimate dream. The music is perfect. I love JD Souther and have many times played this song over and over and couldn't turn it off. With all the artists I got to meet and interview over my years in radio, missing him is one of my greatest regrets. JD if you ever see this, please contact me. I can't get enough of your music.
Alan Boyce also did an amazing job as David Sinclair. I hope people that experience this film in today’s time give props to Alan. This movie stuck with me. When I saw the film, I had no idea what it was about. It goes without saying Keanu’s performance was superb as well. Great soundtrack too!

Madeline Stowe...Harry Dean Stanton. Stanton lived in the house behind Souther when he lived with Ronstadt back in the mid 70’s
