He's eating Ukrainian children. That's worse than eating too high on the hog. It's true Stalin did some pretty bad things in Ukraine (my grandmother's cousin died from the Holodomor) but he never invaded it. He never attacked Ukraine militarily. Putin crossed the line where Stalin never did.

The song is referencing the soviet union stealing from half of europe.
This song goes even further to say that the ham is close to the tail end of the pig.

not just weapons but millions of tons of food (which helped a lot with the ussr bread baskets being under occupation also massive amounts of trucks and trains and even entire factories worth of production equipment

Rebuilding stuff and looking good compared to Russia and America paying for it was a hard thing to not want for the French and the British. Its a hard thing to pretend that to America really has allies though. America does not really control west Europe.
America stayed out of European wars when it could. Ww1 showed many Americans that they should try even harder because there was not going to be a good side to join.
The French were morally bad and would be confused about right and wrong and tend to call bad things good.
The British thought of them selves as great and but more often be just hideing their problems and blame others or take the wrong side because its the British thing to do.
America had a good relationship with Imperial Russia but the White Russians collapsed due to their own problems.
All this together with Germans themselves not being totally evil and all that came out of ww1 was that they were forced to give the British and French made the whole thing kind of a waste. Everyone was more or less bad in different extreem ways and after ww1 no one had a good relationship with America dispite all the nice gestures. There was nothing left in Europe for America to fight for. There was no side to join.
America was the only place with a large amount of real Christians belived in God as real and good instead of a political plot device to be greedy and motivate people into wars.
America could not morally join a war because it was balanced in Europe and there was not one good side. Everything suddenly changed when a clearly bad side was formed. Two countries joined to to take land over It was Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union to take over Poland.
Suddenly it was clear the British and the French were not the worst people in Europe.

@@Avionicx it depends where you start counting. Originally satellites were known as places you mostly control but are not super close. The European countries had them but they really are closer to colonies.
The United States is never going to have more than 50 states. The Philippines and Cuba could have been considered satellites in their time but we realised they were not ever going to be seriously American and a real state so it was not worth trying to keep them. Now Military bases could be considered satellites because they are fully controlled but loseing a bunch of money for them is far from the old normal of force other countries to have to pay for your military base.
Most "satellites" today compleatly don't align with American values despite acting like their close when they want someone somewhere to give free stuff. Its like how Britain and the US are called allies but were adversaries pre ww2 and the only thing that changed was there was no longer a path to war instead of a real friendship. Britain's belifs still did not line up with many important American ones so the thing really that changed acting towards eachother was Britian could not win as many fights, they lost many colonies and they lost most of their industrial power but besides not being an issue to the US there was not really leap in alignment after ww2.
