I like the racy grand soleils from early 2000's, so it was interesting to see them creating a boat for extensive cruising. It seems that their recipe was to remove handholds, make sure windvane installation was impossible, add a bimini where the dinghy would be strapped on during passages, making sure the navigation table would never be used and also made the boat hideous to look at. Pretty epic fail. But I guess it's great for extended periods of poking around the cess pool that is the med...

I still don't like the idea of having to stand on that transom, pitching and rolling in heavy seas, trying to deploy that raft!
What if you brush a reef and you're sinking by the stern?
