The fucking first song that today of the Dropkick Murphys years 97 or so,this is great! I went running to show it to a friend, from there, until now .... OiOiOi
If you don't know the origin of this song it's worth looking up. Society used to be able to come up with great songs about any topic at the drop of a hat. And people would actually sing them, they didn't just put in some ear buds and listen to someone else doing it for them.
Urban blue collar. The rural working class already has a genre. Or it did, that's being ruined as well. Although it's a shame that the representation in these genre is almost entirely Southern, like that's the only region where we have rural working class people.
I love this band, but Mike McColgan's voice suits this band perfectly. This album changed lives. I know because mine was one of them.
(reading this comment from my desk at my union job)

Easily the best album DKM ever put out, back when they were really DKM with Michael McCalum on vocals and Matt Kelly on Drums
Dudes name is Mike McColgan

Street Dogs! What I wish DKM would of been.

Love the epic lore behind this song! And that's what I love about Dropkick Murphys, every song they write tells a story.
Timeless album for the blue collar working class in America. At least what the blue collar working used to be.
