He was the first to realise that those old estates had to get commercial. He introduced the safari park. He had dozens of wifelets , Bond girls, housewives, actresses, prostitutes allegedly. They live the high life at Longleat (the family seat). He painted the walls, corridors of Longleat with graphic pictures. He wore kaftans and grew his grey hair past his shoulders. It was all very seedy. Who know what else. Weird yes, stuffy no!
Ceawlin had a massive falling out with him. Hated growing up there and talks about how he was happiest at the house of a friend and his parents who worked on the estate.
Nevertheless I agree that Emma is great and an asset to her husband and the title. I believe she had a rough time adjusting to her new life with all its responsibilities but she has made a success of it so as well as beauty and charm she has grit and determination.
Her father is a yoruba-Nigerian industrialist, very rich regal heritage, a well-behaved Nigerian girl, she'll respect her elders and be family oriented
And Emma is beautiful which is not a word I would ever think of the X Royal s wife .

Emma & her husband have discussed very openly the medical reasons they decided to use a surrogate in California, she said they agreed to a California surrogacy because the LAW protects the parent's right. (That is why Latina California born Princess Carina has had 2 surrogates babies born in CA) When Emma was pregnant, had life threatening medical issues with her pituitary gland, the doctors weren't able to do an MRI/she had hypophysitis.
Meghan essentially did a "smash and grab" on Harry and his titles. Her actions define her as a commoner in the worst sense of the word. I look forward to the day when she's not in the news.

@maureentaphouse5206 I understand it's the law of the monarchy, but as long as the baby carries the blood of that royal it shouldn't matter. Those laws were written before science had the chance to catch up and they didn't think surrogacy could ever work. Harry and Meghan could've truly changed some old practices but they went about it totally wrong. Women all around the world would've understood their fertility struggles the same way Catherine's cancer diagnosis did.

I adore Rose Hulse. She is also a Californian girl who went to England and she married into a white aristocratic family. She is a true humanitarian. She has worked with you P Dina on setting up clean water in Africa, as well as several other different ventures. She’s self made, and she doesn’t use her husband’s titles to get ahead. She doesn’t scream racism whenever she doesn’t get what she wants, and she conducts herself as a lady and an aristocrat and as a woman of colour. Rose and Emma are both much darker complexioned than Meghan and they do not behave the way she does, screaming racism when things don’t go their way. They are both living proof that it is behaviour and attitude that makes the women shine and successful.

The reason M could have never done what that gorgeous Marquioness did is because M is lazy, rude, unmannerly and terribly nasty to anyone who cannot elevate her. I’m 54 growing up my grandmother escaped Poland from France came here on a steam boat. She was a seamstress her new neighbor was a midwife ! We are French her neighbor was black American but her and my granny formed this bond that lasted through my kids are her great grandkids friends ! Emma isn't afraid to get down and dirty, she works in her husbands business at his Nature Reserve 'Longlete' in Wiltshire she cleans out the animals and feeds them so isn't afraid of hard work, and at the same time does her modelling and socialising. And is very well liked.

I come from Wiltshire and Longleat is a beautiful house and has various attractions apart from the wild animals living in the grounds, which you can visit. It's expensive however but a lovely family day out.
Emma married for love. Everything she put up with was simply so she could be with her husband. Just so you know, her husband is head over heels in love with her. They are such a beautiful couple, and really are a love concures all couple.

Yes I'm from the uk and remember her being on 'Strictly Come Dancing' a few years ago and she was lovely...very modest, kind, and approachable. I'm glad that she is doing so well.
Longleat Estate was developed into a Safari Park where people could drive through seeing the Lions, Giraffes, Gorillas, Sealions etc., Longleat House was the first home of an aristocrat to open itself up for the ordinary, paying tourists. I went there in 1968. 2 years after the Safari Park opened.
