So i have had some testing time now my bigger problems is over burn, so i need to turn the laser down or speed the laser up. i have the speed set at 3000 and and all other setting on 1 lol what are the mix and max vals
hey kidman I had similar laser and I was having serious issues with it. I tried everything to make it run on benbox but the firmware uploader in benbox is just crap. I tried elekscam and it worked.
I was having the same problems as you. I finally got everything working except the laser won't burn. It's like it's stuck on the 5V mode. Here's what I did: I installed the LX-Nano.328p.20150626.hex firmware. Then on the Benbox first menu screen my settings were Low Light 4, Intensity 255, Speed 800, Time 10, Step 1, Scan by Line, Discrete, and Laser. On the second menu page the settings are Step 2 & 3, Dir 5 & 6, Min -1 & -1, Max -1 & -1, PPM 320 & 320, ( the next step is what turned my laser low light on) Laser 11 & 11, Servo -1 &-1, and Feed Rate 1000. Then click the blue check mark. I hope this helps you.
I have the laptop running Benbox set to hibernate when I shut the lid and I only reboot it once a month but I have found that if I shut the lid with Benbox still open then nothing works when I start up again. This also happens sometimes when Benbox is shut down but changing the pc power options to turn off when closing the lid I haven't had a problem since, of that sort anyway.

*What your calling a "driver" is a firmware (that area you flash with the .hex file)* Is the feed rate set correctly? Have you actually tried the driver installer? - Is this the single or double button machine? Is this the 2 or 3 wire laser? - sorry tons of questions if you need help, looks like a totally different machine than mine...
Also, I probably would suggest to NOT run both pieces of software at the same time! That might be confusing the USB/Serial port a little! Have you tried uninstalling the GBRL program?

15000mw chinese engraver are not enough, i tried this you can only engrave at speed 50 But it tooks a year to engrave a simple abstract 😂😂 , such a waste of money
Still no success with benbox. previously i used xloader to update firmware in laser. The same firmware aka benbox eleksmaker. hex worked. but not working now with benbox. One thing is sure that its software issue but I also do not know solution for me. While for you xloader is the way to go
I would start by uploading a video, as you have told us very little. For all we know could be a loose cable. whats going on in device manager, do you have a driver problem? have you setup the com ports? does other software do the same. give people a fighting chance to help you

I just used T2 Laser software after trying for 5 hours to get BenBox to work. T2 worked right away, only downside is you need to buy a license.
Try the laser setting on the second page on 11,11. I had the same problem, and when i changed to 11.11 it worked.

You are right doing this causes problems and I find I need to restart the PC to be able to talk to the laser again, but for making the vid is was easier to show both programs at the same time.

Sam The Man, I am guessing you have not focused the laser. What power laser do you have. I am running the 5500, if any thing I am getting over burn.

II bought a Chinese laser engraver and I downloaded the benbox software and it connects and disconnects does anybody know how to fix that
