- The Dekalb White chickens are efficient, docile, and capable of laying up to 500 eggs in 100 weeks. As in several parts of the world the egg industry transitions from cage housing systems to cage free and free range housing systems, the Dekalb White is the perfect match for this ongoing evolution.
In this video features Mr. Awie B. Cancio, a 24 year-old young agripreneur from Lapaz, Tarlac and Dekalb Chicken Farmer.
This will also discuss why Mr. Cancio chose Dekalb Chicken over other types of Chicken and how he manage and earn from it everyday. According to Mr. Cancio, he is earning approximately 15-18K per month by having a net income of 600+ pesos per day by selling eggs from his own Dekalb Chickens.
Mr. Cancio, a graduate of Communication Arts from Tarlac State University decided to take full-time in farming not because he earned but he found happiness on it.
He is also a recipient of regional and national grants ranging from 50K to 150K from Department of Agriculture (DA) and from Senator Imee Marcos. (Watch the Part 1 here: 👉 bit.ly/3xF50jT)

Ang RTL po isang beses lng po sila nangingitlog kada araw, hindi po sila pwede mangitlog ng 2 beses sa isang araw.no offense sir kahit sinong tanungin mo na layer farm at least 1 beses lng po mangitlog qng mga manok kada araw.heheh
Yes po once lang sila mangitlog sa isang araw. Pero in some cases po may naliligaw na twice ang pag itlog kaso luno po sya kumbaga walang egg shell na parang jelly lang. Kalimitan po iyon nangyayari kapag may bagyo at malakas ang kidlat. Dahil sa stress ng manok yung itlog na para sa kinabukasan palang sana ay nailalabas na ng wala sa oras.
