Your lantern and flares are wind proof so i recommend saving them for situations where you're traveling in dark, windy conditions. Once the difficulty changes, you'll also want to have some on hand to deal with wolves and bears on windy days.
I actually know nothing about these newer regions, since they're made for more hardcore players. Especially the zone of contamination, which has those radioactive wolves. I'm glad to see you didn't encounter any acid or poison gas! I don't think even pilgrim mode can save you from something like that. 😰 I avoid these areas, stuff like pleasant valley, timberwolf mountain and also black rock
I just got back from having to go to the doctor for my congestion. Turns out it was a regular flu that left behind a bacterial sinus infection. 🙃 So basically i was sick for like 2 months because i didn't realize i needed antibiotics ☠️
Ouch! I hope those antibiotics help you get over that soon. Two months is a long time to be sick, my friend! My trip to the doctor is tomorrow, and I am dreading it already 😧🤣
I'm pretty sure the scrap metal is only useful for repairing lanterns. That's the only use i found for it anyway. With a heavy hammer and forge it can create arrowheads though.
Power is all fine now thank god. It was a close call this time. The solitude that comes with country life is what I love most, but it can be a real pain when the weather gets nasty, just me and my dogs out here, and they never want to do chores! 🤣

Loving the series and looking forward to season 2! Quick tip, light torches from the torch you drop. Matches become more rare at higher difficulty.
Thanks for the tip my friend, and the kind comment. 👍

I think you've committed Long Dark sacrilege by using a bullet on a rabbit 😂
I know, I am terrible! 🤣
Holy crap y'all are living the real long dark! I hope your power's doing ok now!

I don't like the look of this place 😨 and i don't like that you found a respirator canister. Does that mean there will be poison air??
