- Quick Overview of the newest addition to the ASH Clipper Suite by Acustica Audio promising unheard of antialiasing tech which allow for lower oversampling rates that outperforms higher oversampling rates at a lower cpu cost.
Looks great & sounds quite transparent. Acustica’s interfaces and CPU are improving all the time. Don’t think i need another clipper at the moment however, so it’s a pass for me this time. Mystic has been looking cool, though. ‘Vibe’ plugins are great to have around. Mystic and the new Michelangelo plugin both are sounding great.
Fair enough!
Thank you for this video, my brotha
That 2:58 beat go hard in the paint. You want to punch somebody in the mouth with this beat.
Which analyzer did you use in the part with the spectrogram?
Spectrogram by ToneBoosters... www.toneboosters.com/tb_spectrogram_v1.html
@@Yishinyourear Thanks!
The beat sounds like Busta' Rhymes meets Raheem DeVaughn meets Teddy P lovechild.
Whats the difference between a Clipper and Limiter?
A Clipper litteraly chops of the transients(destructive) vs a Limiter will squash the transients(non-destructive).
@@Yishinyourear thx
very noice video
Thanks!
Acustica has been on fire recently. I am good with FTC for my purposes, but this is great for folks that need serious clipping action. Yish, you got anything in your sights for Black Friday? I need Straw and Tulip for sure.
Nothing as of yet, but I'm keeping my eye on Acustica for a new channel strip using all the latest tech.
Tulip is excellent and i use it frequently, especially the brick wall limiter in the compressor section.
Gold Clip sounds better usually to me but I still find use for Ash.
It's great to see this all laid out so clearly, thank you. With Christmas on the horizon, and some after some major hardware purchases, I may have to come back to Ash at another time; but, wow, this - and Pumpkin Pro - is something I really want in my arsenal sooner rather than later. I've got some sums to do...
My man. I was waiting for this video as soon as I saw this in my "Purchased" tab in Aquarius. And that 1st joint when the video started is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The hits at 1:30 is that ish I like. Which VSTs do you use for your brass and drums?? Super clean!!!
Its one of my favorite tracks as it was a transition period from looped music to actually composing for me. Bass has been the Scarbee Rickenbacker for years now and acoustic drums could come from the following: NI Kontakt Drum libraries, Superior Drummer 3, Modo Drum, or Melda Mdrummer.
@@Yishinyourear Wooow bro! Arrangement is stupid on that joint. I do everything...samples, loops, sound design...whatever I'm feeling. Bass is super clean too. Doesn't surprise me it's live. I was asking about the bRass you use...the bRass sounds extra clean. It stands out...crazy with that arrangement!!
@@coldskoolbeatz oh Brass! LOL... I believe it was the Brass from the Factory Library in Kontakt. The Bass in the background music is most likely one of the other Scarbee Basses included with NI Komplete 10 at the time
You can hear the whole track here: on.soundcloud.com/EeWSL
@@Yishinyourear BRO!!!!!! THAT ARRANGEMENT IS BANANAS FAM!!!!! THE BREAKS...BRIDGE...INTRO...OUTRO IS STUPID BRO. You deserve more appreciation. I'm inspired!!!
This is the best clip ever !!!! 🫵
lest make them cpu friendly bro...and GUI resizable
Good tutorial. Thank you
You are welcome!
Be careful, Yish. You would be deemed a Carlton Banks bka undesireable ex-communicated from the Black American female community going all Calculus on this vid. LoL
Too Late!! 🤣
@@Yishinyourear I'm right there wit'cha. No worries, fam'lee. LoL
