DAIRY FARMING (1/3) | NAGSIMULA LANG SA ISANG KALABAW, NGAYON 24 NA! A SUCCESS STORY OF MR. MERCADER

This video features the success story of Mr. Samuel Mercader, owner of Mercader’s Dairy Farm from San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.
According to Mr. Mercader, they started their Dairy Farm 20 years ago having only 1 head of Carabao from the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC). However, because of his dedication and hard work together with the help of his wife and their cooperative, the number of heads of their carabao multiplied into 24 ranging from 100k - 130k each.
Mr. Mercader, a Grade 2 graduate noted that “Sipag at Tyaga” served as his foundation to become successful in dairy farming business. He also managed to uplift their lives and his children were able to finish school.
At least 20-50 liters of Carabao’s Mild were generated from their farm, and they sell the said milk into their cooperative earning up to P1,500 - P3,800 daily.
