Not only was I NOT talking about this song being JUST about addiction, I was comparing it to TSSFs most recent album. This song is about what he learned from being in love with someone who's addicted to opiates. It's def deeper than just angsty lyrics about a girl. I don't think the song is about a girl choosing a vice over being in love as much as it's about what the singer learned from watching someone they love be unable to mitigate their temptations.

Saw these guys open for The Maine last night and met them briefly after the show and they played this song. They put on a good show and are super nice guys.
When you guys released the 48 second clip before the song actually came out, my friends and I learned all the lyrics. Once we knew the lyrics, it became a normality to just scream, "I loved a girl named Madison, and she liked to do heroin" down our dorm hallways lol. This song became such a bop towards the end of the semester, so thank you guys for that. Plus, it made my friends actually like some music that I enjoyed (i.e. you guys in Grayscale).
