I’m surprised about Loubiprince for sure; babycat honestly is such a crowd pleasing vanilla!!! I’m so thrilled that I love them.

I have to say I am not really impressed by Babycat. It is just another hype. It smells very similar to Black Tie and The world according to Arthur - and I prefer Black Tie 100%. It is so much more elegant and nice.
It seems it is also similar to Vanagloria by Laboratorio Olfattivo(also same perfumer), have you tried that one ?
So excited!!!! Putting coffee on and ready to relax and enjoy!!! I'm most excited that you are starting to enjoy woodsy scents 😍😍 THOSE ARE MY LOVE!!!!! I call them the "dark notes" and I find them to be cozy and comforting especially if paired with vanilla!
I am expanding my scent profile as well. I am beginning to enjoy fresh scents. Any recommendations? I HATE light blue. I don't like too citrusy, too overwhelming fresh laundry, or aquatic (gives me headache) . Thinking Jo Malone sea salt & sage...it has some earthiness to it.
Loubiprince and loubirouge are my fav from that line! So good.
I’ve recently added Ivory Route and Fire at Will to my collection as I’ve also been open to discovering deeper scents. I’m playing around with Ambre Magique now. Try getting your nose on Xerjoff Starlight and Ex Nihilo Atlas Fever. They’re so warm and addictive.
I would love to sample Starlight! It gets such great reviews. Going to have to check into Atlas Fever 💕
Babycat was masculine for me. It was very strong on the pepper for me. I’ve heard Gabby say the same. Although I’m wondering if different batches are different considering you don’t like masculine leaning fragrances. I love unisex just not leaning masculine. I definitely thought this leaned masculine although it was great scent.
I think it leans very feminine once dried down, it's vanilla dominant. The incense gets much softer - When I first sprayed it I wasn't sure. It wasnt until I wore it on the skin and really let it dry down that I got its true beauty. I haven't seen Gabby's take on it but I wonder if she did that or not. For me it's unisex but has major feminine vanilla vibes. 💗
For like 2 weeeks it was very peppery dominant and only in the drydown I woul feel a faint vanilla. I left it on the shelf and came back to it and it defigot better, the vanilla is more proeminent and I think with time it will only get more intense
Babycat is one I'm going to have to circle back to. At first, I did not like it (I love masculine leaning scents, but, it was too much) after about an hour or two it smelled beautiful. I'm going to try it again and see what I think

i blind bought got boucheron quatre absolu nuit recently, its an affordable luxury perfume that smells warm and nutty.

Omggg Amouage guidence😩😩😩 girl this fragrance it my top 2!!!! I don’t understand why this is not blowing up like crazy. I tried this 2 weeks ago at Neimans and this fragrance lasted on my winter coat over 5 days 😩😩 and it was just 2 spray! This is super strong and super long lasting I ordered two at online aswell they didn’t have them at the store at the time🙃🙃
Ii think part of it is that it's brand new and I know until recently it wasn't available at many stores. I think it's finally starting to gain some popularily.

My absolute favorite Vanilla is Escapade Gourmande by Maison Mataha, I do love Fire at Will, but I love Escapade Gourmande more! I discovered it before it got popular and now I can't find a backup bottle anywhere, so im hoarding my current bottle

Xerjoff is an AMAZING brand because there's literally something for everyone. I love Ivory Coast and Naxos, but I'm completely obsessed with Starlight (cardamom and almond) and I recently purchased Casamorati Bouquet Ideal, a very feminine, spicy, vanilla, woody, tabacco flower scent. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these fragrances-you describe them so well!

I tested fire at will a few days ago and fell in love as well. Although it only cost 150€ in Germany I still think it’s too expensive because it’s really linear. Think I will get the 50ml for 90€

I bought the Ambre as recommended by twisted lily, and when I sprayed it, I nearly got sick. I don’t understand the rave with this perfume. It was so strong, and the smell made my whole house stink. I follow you for your recommendations, so please help me understand how that perfume smells good.

Ivory Route is definitely polarizing. I was taking aback by the basil note. I guess my nose isn't refined enough to appreciate it. I really wanted to love it because Demi raved about it
Its taken back there is no A in back. I dont know when people started adding an A in taken back. Its not taken aback.
Always trust your nose, not another influencer’s. Our tastes are individual and unique, and perfume appreciation is subjective.

The rose doesn’t jump out at me. Perhaps it’s there. But I get ambergris, a deep boozy vanilla, cardamom and a sweet brightness mostly (prob the orange blossom/orange, although that is a smaller player and dissipates).

Vaniglia. That thing is a beast. And a sweet one. But it’s much sweeter than fire at will. Fire at will = warmer cozier amber brown sugar. Vaniglia = vanilla orchid, caramelly, sweeter, brighter. If that makes sense. Both are amazing

Ivory Route is a big No for me, found it very woody, masculine, and heavy on basil leaves. Sold my bottle. However, I love Naxo.

Naxos is more of a honey tobacco, leans more masculine in my opinion but still gorgeous. Sunshine is more of a creamy fruity tobacco. 💕

I think spraying perfume on paper makes it smell strange. Instead, I use kleenex. It works much better.
