Its been a long journey since October of 2021 when the project was initially started and its nice to see it finally have a full and stable release on the horizon
The 1.0 release includes all content for the mod, all npcs, all items, all variants of existing underworld items.
The Depths is a mod that adds an alternate of the underworld similar to how the crimson and corruption work with each other.

What'd be cool is during hardmode it gets cold...like the Norse depiction of "hell" like you can just straight up freeze in the water pools if it's being boardered by soul ice (or something idk)
There is a mod that involves fighting a boss called the wall of iron and upon killing it a portion of hell freezes over

@@audreyholmes9751 a large part of hell freezes over and hell is pretty big so yes I’d say it counts as a biome it has custom enemies, blocks and weapons search wall of iron or bronze and UA-cam videos of it will appear but their is multiple versions of the mod as the wall of iron/bronze originated as a meme from the calamity devs

@@audreyholmes9751it is it’s own biome that soawns around where you defeat the boss the wall of bronze it originally was a troll from a calamity mod wiki but there is multiple mods made from it with one of them containing frozen hell

Could use a bit of polish visually, but has a ton of potential. Just feels a bit stiff is all. Could use a bit more movement in the animations. But seems like a great start!
As I've told everyone else, if you know someone who is up to animate the shalestone beast then ill add animations. I worked on this mod almost entirely myself apart from the contributors and Snickerbobble our concept artist

Though I have a few questions/recommendations.
Is this compatible with other mods? Perhaps by giving drops from the other mods to the depth's creatures, or perhaps depth equivalents to items.
Secondly, this is a little big of ask because I don't know your sprite modeling skills, but I would say that Shalestone Beast needs a little more animation work. I would make the hands, considering their separate entities, don't follow the main body exactly. Perhaps they could have delayed movement, or do minor circular motions. For the main body, I would recommend making the tail and cape have flowing animations.
But that aside, this crazy cool. Modding and game development is something I really hope to get into, so let me just say that you achieving that stage is mad respect.
We have systems in place that allow for dynamic mod compatibility (recipes that require hell materials can also be crafted with depths materials, chasme death calls WoFs' death, ect). As I've said to everyone else, if you know someone who would want to animate the shalestone beast then Ill add animations.

You should add a corruption themed wall of flesh to go with this biome.

Disagree, it doesn't fit with the rest of the biome. A shadow wall makes more sense. Maybe like having the wall of shadow trying to devour a light or something.

Lucky for you, you can still fight the wall of flesh. Take a ruby relic to a Core Builder and you can turn it into a guide voodoo doll. Throwing it in quicksilver still summons WoF

Please make it be able to be made in Hell worlds like if you rbing the blocks over to a hell world you can bring rhe biome over with it being a hell world, i would make so many builds with that ability

Somewhat, hardmode rework doesnt generate palladium or cobalt once chasme is defeated although thats being fixed in the next calamity update hopefully

There is 1 keybind for an accessory from Chasme (Alt WoF) although if you need to go without the keybind the accessory is still usable by double tapping the down keybind (the one to fall through platforms
