Thank you! I have a blown unit from China that is similar, but the chips had the numbers sanded off. Mine works great, with Tesla pan cake coils, and can run large Dc motors. Adding capacitors and schottky diodes bridge gets over 378 volts DC output.

Мощность на выходе всегда, ВСЕГДА ниже потребляемой. Мощность в 2000 вт означает что при напряжении питания в 12 вольт ток питания около 160 ампер. Провода, которыми подключили схему сгорели бы в три секунды! Они выдерживают 10 ампер и то кратковременно. Значит мощность не более 100 вт. Кто сомневается проверьте максимальныцъй ток транзисторов.

You're right. 2000 Watts by 12 Volts are 166 Ampere. The connection with crocodile clips does not even manage 50 amps

yup. and they also cant explain how the number of turns affects the power that will be delivered to the workpiece as its just a transformer reflecting impedances at the square of the turns ratio...

a g40n60 is an IGBT. and ZVS oscillators dont work with IGBTs...
then theres those diodes. 1n4007? really? at 250khz? a plain old standard 1n4007?
i suspect someones doing a bit of cheating regards their little demonstrations versus what they actually "made".

Este circuito se ve mucho en internet, es un oscilador que a la vez es driver ZVS y realmente funciona muy bien. Es obvio que ni de broma obtienes 2kW a 12V pero con el mismo tipo de circuito, otros componentes y mas tensión, nada que no se pueda hacer :P

Need to pull this to bits a little. The 'G40N60 IGBT's are rated at 625 Watts each but not your circuit. The 10K resistors are colour coded for 100K. The green choke is intended for noise supression not as a power inductor (totally different permubility). You can use any size of coil and alter the capacitors so that the resonant frequency is within the range of the IGBT's.

The 10k resistors are colour-coded correctly. The common mode choke he's using as a saturable centre-tapped inductor is demonstrably suitable - it has a high permeability core. It determines the switching frequency to a large extent.

heat heats but 2KW from 12v power supply is about 160 A and that's without losses , those wires what you show is half a second and they will evaporate .

@@ajatsingle1703 well, believe me or not but if you put an AC signal into a resonance circuit with the exact frequency, the voltage and current across a resonance circuit will rises to infinity if there no resistance

UPD - Я понял! Этот тип прочел в даташите рабочие параметры транзисторов и решил, что его подпихуйка разовьет именно эту мощность!
Куплю на лето шины от Порша. У меня бибика и так шустрая, а с такими ваще полетит!
