Glad you made it to both lookout locations. It was several years ago but the No Business Lookout person gave my wife and I a tour of the lookout once the whords of golf-cart jockeys had departed. Got a tour of Sturgill, Jackson, and Sunset lookouts at different times once as well. I would have never attempted Council "goat trail" on my similar XT350 to your DRZ400 but you are an excellent rider. In the trees shortly after left Council LO and before descending the goat part of the trail, we found a wolf research game camera. I found it while taking a pee. Wife saw a wolf earlier in the big meadow on your climb to the lookout. Great ride!
Great content!! I love Council mountain goat trails! Btw. June creek trail in the cuddy mountains is a great view of the hells Canyon area. The trail is barely there and super gnarly but worth the ride.
"Local man mauled by majestic, magnificent and endangered grizzly while on epic dual sport motorcycle adventure touring and mapping local high elevation lookouts for posterity."
Love the fact that you can get through this ride in a DrZ, when the exotic bike didn’t finish.

What app were you using for finding the trails? Great looking views from up there!
