- I know a lot of people are curious as to what happens in Mosques in their neighbourhoods. So I'll take you inside a Mosque and show you exactly what happens. The Mosque we're visiting is Jama Masjid in New Delhi, India but the process is the same in all Mosques around the world. I was so shocked by the Christchurch terrorist attack in my home country of New Zealand that I decided to make this video to help people better understand their Muslim brothers and sisters.
I'll also give you tips and etiquette on how to visit a Mosque anywhere in the world.

Thanks, Karl. This was a good experience. Like you, I am an agnostic, but appreciate many forms of worship. I have to go with the Dalai Lama when he said "My religion is kindness." There seems to less and less of that in this world. Thank you.
I've always really admired the Dalai Lama. He's one of the few public figures in the world who has the guts to criticise Israel's never-ending persecution/murder of Palestinians and doesn't fear the media backlash. Desmond Tutu is another great example.
I agree with you. However, the Dalai Lama eats meat as well. Someone else must kill the animals for him. :( Once he said animals must be respected because they feel joy and pain just like us but then... He eats them.

In short, we give tasleem ( assalamu'alaykum wa Rahmatullah) to the Imam (leader of congregation), worshippers, and recording angels.

@@anfo_4241 u can definitely can observe a pray if u wish, probably easiest to go with a Muslim if u know 1. simply by being present at a pray even as a non Muslim u will get blessings. I would recommend however that u take part just copy the actions because u will find great peace in it and can simply think of things u are grateful for or would like to change in your life (as u obviously wouldn't know the prayer words). even if u don't believe think of it like communal meditation (which has been proven to benefit the mind and body)

God says that every deeds, no matter how small, will be rewarded. It is God's authority, the all knowing, to decide whether one deserve good rewards or punishment. In islamic teaching, we can do all bad things in life, but we won't escape the punishment. Death can't even save us from it. That's one of the fundamental teachings.

Reason: This body is made by earth so it belongs to this world. We are pleasing the body with things made from this world like eating drinking having hobbies having fun etc. However that doesn't bring happiness in life. Praying to the Almighty God is the only way to be 100% happy. Reason: The soul is not from the earth, it is from another world. From god in the heavens. If you truly look for the reality or what is real, you should take a look into Islam. But if you are just here to criticise muslims and their faith then you are at the wrong place.

I am a Hindu and I went to this mosque with my friends. I have never been to North India b4 that. When I first arrived to Delhi I got poisoned and was unable to breathe properly due to the fog (during December). Almost all the places were crowded and was filled up with cigarette buds (at least for the places that I visited). But this mosque made my trip a lot better. It was calm relaxing and peaceful, and most importantly, it was way cleaner than any other place that I have visited in Delhi. It's amazing to look at how they keep their surroundings clean and welcome a non-muslim to their religious worship site.. It was an amazing experience.

Man, that arabic felt so soothing and peaceful.... Islam is the religion to God and Peace in every meaning of the word..... No one can force you to convert unless you yourself are satisfied with the beliefs at heart and submit your will to the will of God. It has no crazy stuff like human sacrifice or sth like the ones you see in movies- relating to submitting to God. All Islam tells you is the best way to conduct, your morals, code of life, honor and God......

1) you get peace

3) bending relieves pain of back and toes and ankle pain
4) you interact with fellows and can know if one is in difficulty or not
5) it eliminate every kind of discrimination, farmers, businessmen, kings, slaves teacher and tutor are all standing side by side representing equality before Allah Almighty
6) it shows strength of Muslims.
7) Weakly adress ( khutba tul jumma) is a source of guidance nd reminder.

Whenever I falling in distress or face any kind of difficulties, I simply go to the mosque and going through a deep meditation. Which help me to overcome every difficulties that I have faced. Thank you Karl.

Similarly, the "Ganimat E maal" concept of Islam tells Muslim men to rape, abduct and sexually enslave Hindu women , like what Happened in moplah riots - where several thousands of Hindu women were raped for numerous days and taken and carried away by moplah Muslims for gangrape for prolonged period of several weeks.
The same happened in Kashmir where Hindu men were butchered and Hindu women gangraped in thousands , information is available on many recorded documents.
