Just go play the fangames, Super danganronpa another 2 is playable and regarded as the best fan made danganronpa games, Eden garden is also playable but isn’t finished.

I saw this in the eshop today after finally getting the Switch. The more I see the better it looks and I was already impressed after watching the trailer muted. This gameplay peek makes it seem even more promising. It's also nice to have this jumping on point as I haven't experienced a game with this art style before.

I have the collectors edition preordered physically! Super excited. I want this game to do really well so I hope you all will consider porting to other platforms so it can get larger fanbase. At least PlayStation. I feel it would do well there.

So glad Teenage Protagonists aren't obsessed with shooting "Truth Bullets" everywhere anymore. How delusional they must have been, to believe shooting bullets at invisible words would actually help things, right!? XD
Solution Keys are much more refined, and far less likely to get someone killed. Even when placed into the Solution Blade, it's still more mature and controlled than a mysterious firearm.
Clearly our Protagonist is a very responsible person, who we can trust with our very lives.

I'm really excited for this game; it seems like they've taken the best aspects of Danganronpa, and reimagined them in a way that has just more gameplay (since the biggest complaint was the visual novel format making everything feel too tedious). Instead of Class Trials we have Mystery Dungeons, which seem to actually be dungeons you traverse through instead of people just standing around and talking to each other. Great idea to keep the spirit of DR while offering more broad appeal.
I am worried though. For all the complaints that people have about DR games being too bloated, this is giving off "Somnium Files" esque vibes as well. Personally, I think those games have the worst pacing I've ever seen, and are bogged down by side stories that are boring as hell. Here's hoping the game is focused entirely on these characters and this premise, and not some wannabe anime that drops tiny nuggets of info every 6 hours or so. At least in DR, the side stuff is usually very transparent about when it's going on, and you can skip them if you want to get back to the main stuff as soon as possible.

Mystery Labyrinth: Tartarus, Palace, Midnight Channel. Mystery Phantoms: Shadows (lol, at least change their yellow pupils for another color). This is more or less a danganropesque Persona but I think this is a pretty cool concept.
Hopefully more Danganronpa and Persona and Less Danganronpa and Somnium Files lol... if the main story is gate kept by a bunch of stupid storylines that amount to nothing more than "sick old lady is sick, isn't that sad?" I'm out. Persona gets a pass because the writers are actually good on that game, and the characters are interesting.
@@nrbism9614 Yeah, I really can see the parallels with Somnium Files, an overrated game that artificially extends itself due to a very convoluted plot just for the sake of it. Speaking about the game, ¿Why do I have the feeling that the Master Detectives will be the villains or at least the guy behind them? Perhaps I played too much Dangan.
Danganronpa/Persona fans really are pathetic.
My biggest problem with Ai somnium files is the insane tonal whiplash the game constantly throws at you, it’s hard to take the plot seriously at times

Another issue I have is that because Somnium Files games have one central mystery that is then expanded upon as more dead bodies show up, it doesn't feel as engaging since instead of having a solid mystery each chapter, you just get more breadcrumbs that eventually lead to the big reveal. It literally feels like Rain Code but instead of getting an arc each chapter, you just get a new "hint" so to speak. It's incredibly daunting and spins it's wheels far too long before anything interesting happens.
