These are my favorite trees. I have bought 6 of them from you and have them all around the house here in Tucson. They are a beautiful red in the fall and provide tons of drought tolerant shade.

I have a serious gardening question. Is there a native Texss pistache tree? If there is, does it produce edible fruit or nuts? I have heard it is an endangered species which grows well in the Texas hill country which is mostly limestone and clay with some red granite soils around Llano and Fredericksburg. Thank you from Paul's wife Katherine in central Texas hill country USA 🇺🇸. 🌎 ❤ 🤍 💙 We live in the limestone/clay soil area.

Do the grafted trees ever send out sprouts below the grafts?

Yes like any grafted tree the rootstock will grow shoots and need to be trimmed off.
