I just watched the short viral video from their ig live where one of the female actors said, "yengba heiba minadi yam thina thagatle..." which means those giving their feedback on how the old version was far better than this don't know how to watch SERIOUSLY??? loll. At first I thought even though the remake is not that good they tried their best say, the vfx, choreography and the costumes too even though they do not match well with the song. But now I think they really deserve all these negative feedbacks. The matter of the fact is Manipur has a significant Nepali population who contributes in manipur's art and music scene but their cultural heritage must be rooted in Nepal so the Nepali element is reflected in their work. Now that the internet has changed the game of entertainment and the import and export of any piece of art without due credit calls for huge scrutiny. Back then it was something else 🫢.
