When I first watched this I thought it was too ridiculous to actually work but...it did!!! I was about to take everything apart after which I probably would have needed to call an appliance repair shop. Your simple video saved the day for us, thanks!
This is such a common problem it's unbelievable the money these companies are charging for this garbage all these years and haven't made this design more robust
our freezer drawer was not closing AT ALL and after watching your video, i decided to go back and tinker with it one last time… this worked like a charm! thank you so much! 🥰 saved me a minimum of $100 and a whole lot of headache. greatly appreciate you posting this!
I didn’t know how quick of a fix this was. I thought i was going to need to buy another fridge. Thank you so much! It was fixed withing two minutes. 1.5 of those minutes was just us finding the button! 😂
WOW lol, when I was watching the video I was thinking "She has no idea wtf she is doing", I thought I would have to adjust brackets and shimmy something and do a ton of work. But pushing the two white clips by hand actually worked flawlessly hahahahah well done. that was crazy easy! You don't even need to take anything apart you can reach the clips with all the trays in. Just make sure you get ride of all the ice build up on the bottom. Thanks :)
Thanks for your video it did help me fix my door and save me some money. Just passed those 2 clips there’s 2 little spring loaded heads that stick out, if you reset them they will close and make sure the door kept shut all the time.
Thank you so much for posting your video. I was about to order new parts and if that didn't work a whole new fridge freezer! So simple I wish I had checked on here mo the ago!
Thanks Tina Style. I don’t know if clicking the tabs worked for me, but because I removed the drawers, I saw that the bottoms of the freezer had an ice build up, I defrosted it and now it closes perfectly. The frozen ice was keeping my bottom door from closing all the way
This worked on my new cafe fridge as well one side wasn't sticking properly and it caused the freezer to ice up! I didn' take anything out i clicked the tab by putting my hand in the bottom.
Thanks, but the only thing that was obstructing miners was the rubber sealer from the bottom it was hanging! Currently re attached it by putting it into place and pushing on it flush, no glue needed. Thanks.
My freezer door looked the same as the author. I did not have to click the tabs behind the sliders. Just taking out the baskets and putting them back seemed to fix the issue for me.
I was skeptical with this but I tried it. I took the drawer out completely, released both rails, reinstalled, and the seal on the left side of the drawer pulled up tight to the freezer. Now let's see if it resolves the ice build up in the freezer.
Hi everyone. My uncle has this same issue. He defrosted the freezer, cleaned, installed a new gasket, and then we tried this procedure, but still not getting a good seal. The sliding rails look perfectly aligned, but the door does not seal fully along the top. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the video, unfortunatelydidn't work in my case.
Thank you for your easy tutorial. I hate my Samsung, ice makers always freezing n the issue with the freezer door is fixed. Samsung stuck to TV's. .
The lower freezer storage bin can be removed, but you have to open both refrigerator doors to create enough clearance to remove the bin. Good luck.
Thanks for the info!
