I've always had a soft spot for these birds, and Barf looks like a sweetie. Not to mention very clean! Nobody ever said nature's janitorial staff had a pleasant job, but they really do need respect, pee or no pee. Turkey vultures are magnificent up in the air, but seeing one up close like this is a treat. Thank you!
I have always been fascinated by these amazing birds. We have lots of them here in Southern NJ; especially in the town of Wenonah which hosts a vulture fest each year to honor their resident vultures. They are beautiful in flight up there riding the thermals. I'd love to trade places with them for that privilege.
Thank you and as gross as those three things are I still very much admire Turkey vultures and love watching them soar. Appreciate the video, thank you.
He seems so calm and content! I kinda like animals like this, who are sorta gross in our eyes but it's for a reason. Very important for the environment, and they actually seem pretty sweet despite the grossness
4 th P....Poop.. Ive been dealing with at leat 50 to 100 everyday, for months at a time, for the last 2 years. Some of them are tagged, which tells me they were brought into my residential area. They poop all over my black metal roof. Its awful. Im fed up.
I have noticed for the last 5 or 6 weeks or so a few of these have been hanging around an old shed in my backyard in the woods. Why would they be hanging out around there and going into it?

He’s strangely adorable.
I love these birds, and I _love_ that his name is Barf. He should be in a punk band
Judging by your profile picture and love of punk vultures, I think we'd be friends :-)

RIP Barf ❤️ we miss you greatly
I love how their wings are almost silver from the underside
how does one get a job w birds
I love vultures. They have gross habits, but so does every single species. They are sociable and clever creatures.
I would love to see Barf soaring in the sky. But all that other stuff he can keep to himself. His tricks of his trade.

Perhaps considering it for a nesting site. Turkey Vultures tend to nest in old buildings like barns
In jamaica if a Turkey vulture come near you they say it's bad luck
They’re disgusting but mainly peaceful creatures
I like his name
and they eat them meat bugers.
I want to kiss him
This is a good bird
They should hire them to recycle road kill perhaps?
Christopher Spain Well, she forgot to mentioned the 4th "p". Which is "Pay". They charge way too much for road kill clean jobs.
I there's enough of it, that would be pay enough for 'em.
Do wild turkey vultures harm humans?
No, they aren’t built to attack
Extremely shy and docile.
Just nicely nasty little creatures lol
they're so fucking disgusting i love them so much, i literally wish i was one of em
