And I like the room for interpretation it gives at every twist and corner. True, "lie" has double meaning here. Second meaning being lying to each other and to themselves about being a happy couple for a few moments at least. I mean at some point we've all experienced this - pretending that everything is happy and fine with our relationship with someone we really like even though we know it's not going anywhere.. this song is so relatable😅
