- In this Train Driver's View video we embark on a journey to the west coast and Uddevalla from Stockholm. In Herrljunga we change the direction of travel, this part of the journey is particularly beautiful. If your into farming simulator or have interest in farming equipment that last part of the journey have lots of combined harvesters and tractors on the fields!
This journey is with the Bombardier X55 EMU (Vmax 200km/h).

That building near Vara station is a bit bright, even for Sweden.
The speed limits Herrljunga-Uddevalla are (published under the headline "Göteborgs linjebok"):
Herrljunga-Håkantorp mostly 160 km/h, Håkantorp-Vänersborg mostly 110, Vänersborg-Öxnered mostly 70, Öxnered-Ryr 140, Ryr-Uddevalla varying 90-120.

A great video..At 48:11 a funny little line coming in from the left that is broken up where was that from? Be nice if you could add info on diverging lines in and out. Notice a lot of black triangles on yellow that I thought were indications of crossings, then nothing? Sometimes I see the crossing warning still there with a new bridge over, nearby. Obviously replacing an old crossing. So glad to change cabs and get a clean windscreen!. An interesting twisty bit of stuff between the last two stations going South then back west again for the finish. Loved it all, thanks.
48:11 was probably an "omformare", a tunnel into the ground with rail track used to convert electricity from the normal network to the railway by changing frequency in times of war. Several of these were built across the country during The Cold War and many are still standing but have sinced been shut down and abandoned.

Uddevalla has links to the north and south of Sweden.
Har man börjat köra "sommartåget" igen, eller är det en gammal film? Jag försökte köpa biljett i somras, men det fanns bara med byte till Västtrafik i Herrljunga.
What camera are you using? We don't see a rolling shutter effect, it's rare.
We use a GoPro Hero 8 for most of our videos 👍
@@SwedishRailcam I have a GoPro 8 and a GoPro 7 too, it is for their low rolling shutter effect that I preferred these models. 1080p youtube streaming is not enough due to too low bitrate. Even if you shoot in 1080p, if possible export in 2560 by 1440p CRF 26 quality or fixed average bitrate 15Mb /s: you will have a better quality and your videos will be offered in webm format which is also better.

Signalen är 10-övervakad (kan inte passeras i stopp i hastighet över 10 km/h) och uppdatering från baliserna (de gula plattorna mellan skenorna) kom försent i förhållande till accelerationen så ATC ingrep med broms för att förhindra en eventuell stoppkörning.

We have less homeless, and pay for upkeep. Also less crime.

Российским железным дорогам до шведских ( да и в целом до европейских) ещё ооочень далеко. Сапсан не в счёт он больше 250км/ч не идёт.
Максимум до 200 разгоняются. Этот где-то до 180, если ограничений нет. Можно другие ролики посмотреть с GPS спидометром.
