The Odua People's Congress (OPC), a security network dedicated to protecting Yorubaland, has issued a stern warning to those planning to disrupt the peace in Ogbomoso. The group, led by Commandant Alabede, has declared that the Soun of Ogbomoso is the supreme head of the ancient city and any attempts to undermine his authority will be met with resistance.
The OPC of ogbomoso zone warns that any individual or group, regardless of social or religious affiliations, should not attempt to frustrate the monarch or bring external influences to protest personal interest in Ogbomoso. The group emphasizes that the Soun is our head in Ogbomoso and all sectional leaders must respect his authority.
With this loud declaration, the OPC reaffirms its commitment to maintaining peace and order in Ogbomoso and Yorubaland at large. Any attempts to destabilize the city will be met with swift action"
