  • We're literally only watching The Mod Squad because it sounds like the show we watched previously, M Squad. With methodology like that, you can't expect our opinions to be very cromulent.

I remember watching later versions of "The Mod Squad" from the late 1990s ("Players") to the early 2010s ("Breakout Kings").

I would catch my dad watching the show here and there, he seemed to enjoy it (through it's probably because he grew up on it).
I watched some clips on UA-cam and it's pretty forgettable, if the show was only about the lady and the black person and if there was some humour sprinkled throughout it could've worked.
Besides that, it's one of many cop show that just exists.

      Two Notes:
1: When you mentioned the Yogie awards, I thought you said a loogie award.
2: When you said "Simpsons side burns" I think of Mr Burns telling Don Mattingly to get rid of those distracting side burns.

@randomlad.7105 Yeah, it's a bit weird that the clip is named "sideburns", because I agree that the Burns quote is by far the more famous sideburns quote.

@@revisitingtv Definitely, that clip should've been "Namath's radical side burns" (or some shit like that).
