Dude, I used to play the game in 2019 and then stopped playing due lack of time, now due to nostalgia I came back and everything has changed, I literally passed from Pro to Noob in seconds, lol, I hope that this thing helps me
thanks for some help of me getting better at fe2 or obbies in general. i usually play some other obby games (like difficulty charts and other stuff) but this guide is really great and very updated. thanks!
As a person who has beaten a 6.6 crazy+, I would also like to spread a different kind of tip for players. 1.Try to jump as soon as it lets you on a platform, I suggest for stuff like avm's tower, don't let go of space for some areas, the second you land on a platform jump. 2. Don't tackle crazy+ maps until you've mastered the main crazies, I see a lot of players trying to beat maps like Lost City of Gold without beating avm yet, don't try maps you think you can't beat. 3. If a map has a jump that's too hard for you, practice or stop trying the map. If you can't do the jump then that means you can't do it. Just get better and you'll be surprised.
Easily the best guide I've seen so far, nice one man. I'm so much better at flood escape 2 thanks to this legendary guide, the part that really helps is mainly the part where you mentioned to keep your camera mainly down and to take corner cuts as much as possible. Thank you so much ShortZaz0.
very nice video, i have been searching for guides but all of them are from a few years ago. the tips are actually useful here, hopefully i can beat the black tower in nyx with this bloxstrap is also really useful, thank you
THANK YOU. This is ACTUALLY helpful. I came here for answers as to why I was so slow, and your tips makes sense. I wasn't corner cutting, and I'm usually very unsure of my movements and hesitate a lot. Imma try to get into spreedrunning, see how that does. Thanks fam!
has a returning player (quit when bm was added) and whos had deserted district has their first crazy map beaten cant wait to feel just like how good it was to solo dsf back then thx for this
I cant stress this enough, USE AIRDIVES TO SAME TIME. Simply using airdives to get down to the ground faster can save loads of time on some maps. Also jump up and down slopes, they will make you go slower even if it is only a slight angle.
Here's something I do to help with memorising maps: Whenever I die on an unfamiliar map, I spectate another (better) player and try to match my keyboard/mouse inputs to what they are doing. This drastically helps with memorising the map's layout, as I can remember what keyboard/mouse inputs you need to do and when, thus helping me know where to go.
I still remember when I saw Flex beating Startup/Karaoke Failure, it motivated me to beat that same map, and when I beat it, it improved my skill a lot lol (He also motivated me to beat Halcyon 2.0) But I admit that after leaving FE2 because of new physics, I'm not as good as before
* Panicking on harder parts of a crazy maps will just make you loose focus and die, being calm brings slight precision and focus. * Use your sight *Sightee processing* (basically processing all connected parts of the obstacles as fast as possible) * Find a comfortable position for your mouse and keyboard.
Even though Im late, this is a very good guide. So a funny story is that my motivation actually came from watching you beat agitato v1, which at the time, was extremely hard. But I started with Octane, as I thought it was the easiest in the Alex28901 series. After beating Octane in a relatively short time, I skipped turbo as it wasnt much harder and moved to Mandragora. Which was a pain in the butt, especially since some parts have to be executed almost perfectly in order to advance. But nevertheless, I was able to beat it. Now after watching you and a few friends beat Agitato, I figured if I beat this, it was (and is) going to be my biggest jump yet, so of course, it took countless fails, and countless rages. But me being me, I found a way to slightly improve my skill and eventually beat it. And I havent really been active on FE2 since then, so my skill is very rusty. But I can say this, as someone who has recently beaten chaoz japan, and is halfway done with avm v6 (which is a 6.7 I believe), and is making decent progress in hyperspace, as mentioned in the viewer tips, do. not. give. up. Another thing I wanted to say that also builds up confidence is to believe in yourself. A lot of the tougher maps test not only your ingame skill, but your mental willpower as well. Another thing I want to add is to take breaks. Sure some of the top players (most likely) dont take many breaks, but the wisest players make sure to take breaks every so often. Now that Im almost finished yapping about stuff that no one is probably going to read, I just wanted to state again, thank you for this vital guide, Now I truly think I can finish avm v6. And who knows, maybe I can further progress on hyperspace as well. I typed all this at 3 in the morning on a phone during a 600 mile road trip, peak boredom at its finest.
Honestly I have to say it's mostly about LEARNING the map, trial and error is required for this. It's always like that if you're trying a new map, back in 2020 my hardest was UnderSci now it's Eternal Punishment, but the thing is the same. Overall you need a lot of patience and stuff
Another good tip to get good at FE2 is too play a Roblox game JToH. In my opinion JToH is a great obby skill booster in any type of obby, raw difficulty or speed. I didn't see it in the vid but I wanted to point it out since it really helped me beat some harder maps in solo and multiplayer. Also quick warning, it WILL make you rage sometimes, JToH isn't the right skill booster obby for many people but if you toughen out the hard difficulty, your see you skill rise up quick :D
I found this helpful :D Learnt some new stuff too! ty Also to add on: - As a mobile fe2 player, this guide is helpful for mobile players too, or any other device you might be playing on - If you can't tackle insane/crazy maps yet and ur struggling to find a server that doesn't keep boosting, go to fe2cm to practice or find the smallest server in the server list to join (usually, those servers won't be at crazy difficulty yet) - Listen to everyone else in the comments giving tips, they give good tips :)
I improved just after switching to a device that could actually run fe2 on 60 fps, when I switched to a 360 hz monitor (240 fps in roblox) rj truss feels like a normal jump to me now
(sorry for long commend idk why i felt like doing this) see, section 1's devtools don't work for me because i mainly play on xbox (it's all i really have access to) and chat is disabled on xbox, is there anything i can do? section 2, i always play while facing downwards, turning on xbox is slow tho :(, lol steady hand isn't needed too much on xbox, but it helps, sensitivity doesn't work on xbox :( if i could i would use a high sens bc i feel more comfortable with high sens. section 3, nice tips :D, thats how i tackle this so uhh idk why i did this XD
I’m trying to beat all the crazies I’ve already completed poisonous chasm and blue moon but I beat those a long time ago. Also why does ignis peaks have to be so hard
I would like to help but I haven’t played roblox yet aside fe2 on mobile in at least 4 years, and I don’t think I even beat an insane on mobile, so I don’t really know what I’d recommend. Sorry though.
A tip I have is to try and use claw grip (Using your index finger for the camera). It allows you to move more fluidly as you can move your camera while jumping since you have one finger for the camera, and another for the jump button

Back in my days... Blue colored transparent granite material wasn't oneshot in FE2...
