      I suspect that Putin himself would reject that title. He prefers to see greatness in the Russian people, and, especially, in the generation that was forged by the great events that followed 1917. As Putin said, when Germany invaded the Soviet Union -- Operation Barbarossa, 22 Jun 1941 -- it had the covert and even the overt support of much of Europe. We see the same pattern today, with Europe supporting the U.S. proxy war.

    Hmm, for some reason Russians never talk about the events and "hero action" Russians did when they went back over Poland and other countries after the victory they so much love to point out... heroes indeed... shame on this. I hope one day Russia will develop to a normal country that actually looks friendly and lovely and that you really would love to visit. These days it is just a violent monster.. But looking at the events then there is not much hope for that.

      In these forums, I often encounter people who lived in Soviet-bloc countries that have now been swallowed up by NATO. They dearly wish they could return to the Soviet era, when culture mattered, when education mattered, when peace mattered. So your categorical characterizations are far from universal: Opinions differ widely. And if we must talk of "monsters", what about Poland itself: It was first country to sign a pact with the Third Reich, it too stole a piece of Czechoslovakia after the Munich Conference, and it blocked Soviet efforts to protect Czechoslovakia.

      For some reasons, your still brainwashed by western media narratives even when all information about the truth is easily accessible.
      I hope you stop being lazy, do more reading and understand the full situation before making such a shameful comment

    The USSR was given enormous quantities of material support from the western Allies, especially the United States during world war 2. The war against nazi germany was won in spite of mostly incompetent military leadership in the USSR which caused incredible casualties among the fighting men.
    Nothing much has changed since then. Russia can barely manage to steal land from its much smaller neighbor who is receiving old equipment from the west. Russias military leadership is incompetent because their primary purpose is not to win wars, but to protect Putin and this thugs from domestic threats like Wagner.

      Russia is not interested in the lands of it's neighbours like the former colonial powers do. That's why they supported Minsk agreements (which were brokered by Germany & France & ratified by the United Nations Security Council) that would have granted reintegration of Donbass regions back to Ukraine

      @@myvoiceafrica254 Where is your proof; why did Russia attack Ukraine in 2022 , was it because they are sorely in need of resources or that they were afraid or big, bad Ukraine and it's nuclear arsenal (oh wait, they gave that up only to be attacked again) !?

    • @jcl644
      @jcl644 24 дні тому

      US army has never truly been tested. In both world wars, it waited for Germany to be severely weakened before joining the war.
      Then used its media narrative to claim all credit. Was a shameful, dishonest country then, and a shameful despicable country now.
      Got whacked in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, even with overwhelming tech superiority. Classic textbook incompetence.
