Surprising Update: Mite Checks and ApiTablets and OA Treatments just before winter

50th Day Mite Wash and check. I ordered 50 ApiTablets by Apimon to put to the test on my hives for mite control, check back for the results. All other hives have gotten OA treatments for mites also. Only these two are being treated with the ApiTablets.
Hive #1 From a 6.67% to 6.64% Mite Count (391 bees last shake)
Hive #2 From a 12.0% to 2.27% Mite Count (210 bees this shake)

I'd requeen that hive in a heartbeat if any of ours were that defensive. Good follow up. Hopefully they'll be okay to make it through the winter.

Would've taken longer to get the smoker out and lit than I spent in the hive, so I just didn't waste my time

@@MinnesotaBeekeeper Why? smokers are a pain in the ass and takes longer then gloves. Just put gloves on and get in and out.
