  • The Northen lapwing is my favourite British bird and its spring display used to be the sound of spring when they were a common farmland species. Today they are very scarce and I have to travel to find them displaying in numbers.
In this weeks film I am at Elmley on the Isle of Sheppey. A place where you can photograph several wading species of bird from the car window.
I get close to Lapwings, Redshank, Black-tailed godwits, Oystercatchers and Kestrel using the OM-1 camera with the 150-400mm lens.
