This is timely and much needed! Thanks Rabbi. Most of what I've read say Benjamin is the tribe associated for the month of Kislev, following the order would be Naftali as mentioned in the video which gives another ray of insight for this month.
In western astrology, Sagittarius is Nov 22-dec 21. Can you explain why the difference? Is the sign of the time determined by which constellation the sun hits when it rises??
@@EricM93fine, so if the zodiac sign of the time is determined by which constellation is due east on sunrise, wouldn’t the solar calendar dates be accurate?
it's just two different ways to look at the same problem. In solar calendar, the same signs are always occuring at the exact same time in a solar year. In the lunar calendar, they are still at nearly the same time of year, but on a 19-year cycle it varies by date up to around 1 month. It is useful in different ways, for example you could think about the power of a sign slowly marching forward in a solar year. Allows for variation on a theme. @@ndorphin2564

At first, the shiur sounded foreboding. After the first half empowering. I love DI!❤
I am waiting for this. You said the most important month is where we are at. I believe it is.
Thank you for this Beautiful words and teachings 💕

hebrew calendar is lunar so the months vary with respect to the solar calendar on a 19-year cycle.
