Mob James and Vlad spoke about Boosie saying dark-skinned people get treated worse than lighter-skinned people, saying dark skin causes more fear. Mob James said as a dark skinned man he feels people have an opinion of them being more aggressive, even though that may not be the case some times. James says he’s used to it, but says to each their own. He noted that back in the day when people used to act scared around them, he used to taunt them and try to scare them.
From there, Mob James and Vlad addressed Vlad’s comments about black people and reparations.

favorites favorites unfortunately when people don’t grow up in the hood they have a stigma about it from reading the paper, watching the news, their parents telling them not to go past this or that area so in all they don’t understand that in the hood most people are good people, there isn’t a killer behind every tree & the lower income areas truly aren’t as bad as they as perceived. But it’s in human nature to fear what isn’t understood therefore things can escalate real quick. Now you put a person that was born & raised in that environment they see a pissed off addict with a knife or bat & they take caution but aren’t scared cause they have the ability to read people & anticipate their next move & 2 you got a gun on your side that if he tries to rush you it’s over but they use verbal judo to deescalate the same situation that someone would of handled completely different. Officers that been working in the hood for many years also learn this but it takes time & mistakes. Moral of the story is a good urban officer is aware, fearless & compassionate all at the same time.
The funniest is when I'm at work with a uniform and people are still scared lol

I’m from Africa and I was so embarrassed how white folks are so uncomfortable around me just because I’m black but I’m used to it now. I cross the street now before they do. It was something shocking to me. Some just perceive you as a brute while most just get so uncomfortable when you happen to be in the same space with them and I even try to be more humble and speak like a baby 👶 so as to seem less threatening but no they still get jumpy when they talk to me. Well I feel there's truth to it. Darker skin people just tend to be more aggressive. We already have our own psychological issues with being dark in the first place so we are already lashing out. And nobody has time to try to figure out who's the good one and who's the bad one. Judging on looks is a form of survival. If you see something or someone that looks dangerous, your brain tells your body to prepare for fight or flight. That's just how it is. And sometimes looking threatening also protects you from harm. It works both ways. It's just nature. The law of the jungle. You don't want people fearing you and yet you don't want people thinking you're a sucker to come after.

I don't necessarily think that black skin looks more aggressive as much as white skin looks pretty dopey. I am Irish/Scots-Irish/ and Cornish which means my skin is near opaque, and I have to admit I look pretty stupid and harmless.
