- In this quick tutorial I show you how to increase the space between words within your word document. You can select portions of your document or the whole document. You may have found the font you're using would be easier to read if the spaces were just a little wider. Well here's how.

The channel began all because of a problem I had when I had to insert images into a Word Document. I couldn’t find a way to drag and drop multiple images into a table without them expanding across the page, being cropped or interfering with the rest of the text. It wasn’t until I finally sat down one day, determined to find the solution and developed a way to solve the problem. Having found the problem quite difficult to solve without knowing how to do it I decided to make a You Tube video about it. Never once believing that many people would watch it, let alone be so grateful.
After discovering how helpful a simple tutorial could be I decided to make further videos with the aim of once again helping as many people as possible.

Obvious solution once you realise it. in Word [installed on Windows] I find it easier to use Ctrl & H (Find and Replace). thanks for your clear video.

I'm so damn surprised that such text editor doesn't have one of the most important feature in typography. Nonetheless I suppose that tutorial answers my question.
You made my day ahahahah. I was trying to figure it out from past 2yrs. I have been using find replace, but never thought in that way. I like my text of font 9 but it was always too close too read. Now im going to rule my MS Word. It feels like you have invented steam engine in 1700's for capitalist. 😂😂😂 Awesome ...made my day

Recently space between my documents words were missing .They turned from I like cakes into this (Ilikecakes)) how to fix this ??? Can U give some sugg please.
My problem is around with your video but I need to change this space only between two words. for example, When I join two lines in a text when I bring the first word of the next line closer to the last word of the first line, the words have no space. Why does this happen and how can I fix it? The point is that even these two words have standard space as if they have words in a row. Thank you in advance."
Have you got you text set to 'JUSTIFY'? this is in the same group of icons as 'CENTRE TEXT'. If the word is too long to fit on the same line as your first line Word will automatically push the word onto the next line OR put the two words together on the same line to enable the word to fit. If you increase your margin, this may also help.

Hi Lisa--I want to reduce the space between words in only one selected paragraph. So I selected that one paragraph (by highlighting it). But when I followed your instructions and selected "replace all" the spaces are reduced in my entire document! This process seemed to not acknowledge my selection. Do I need to select my paragaph in a different way? Is there a different way to do this so I can reduce the space only in the selected text? Thanks so much if you answer.
In another video, there's a dialog box that pops up asking if to apply this to just the paragraph or the entire document(yes or no). Does this pop up for you?
