"as soon as I went outside a Seeker kicked my ass" the radius welcomes you the only way it knows how.
I've gone inside a building and an invisible seeker tried to kill me through the window. I alt-F4'ed after I hear a door creaking open.
The stompers (giants) are invisible and can only be seen by the dust cloud. They don't chase you, but will crush you if you walk underneath them, and will set off grenades in your inventory if you're even remotely close.
Hold up hold up set of GRENADES thank god I say the hell away from them

By the way yes they do set of grandes in pouch as i reckon i learned it the hard way but I'm not sure about backpack

I just encountered it as I was doing a mission in the factory area I did not know what it was so I avoided it glad I did
I’m sure you know this by now, but the “no you’re gonna break it!” was a mimic. Mimic’s occasionally say lines like that which you can hear if you’re close enough. One time I was in Kolkhoz and heard “is max coming out to play?” and I round the corner and shoot a mimic in the face. I then go on to say “no, max will not, in fact, be coming out to play” 😂
I am grateful for the half a dozen flares I brought with me to the intrusion mission. No hiding in the dark for you fellas. I spent the whole wave systematically hunting down every enemy in proximity so my stroll home with the case was a leisurely one.

The crazy thing is you don't even need a gas mask to make it through that anomaly, at least, I didn't on my first run through it with no idea what was going on at the time until I started coughing. Lmao. I just jabbed myself with a fancy heal stick and carried on till I got all the fancy glow orbs.
at 6:27 that ring thing calls out your location to enemies, and it was worse in the beta days because it would freeze you there. so if your ever there avoid that crane at all costs

@@Dreamz1019 yeah at the top you saw a ring go about, and when you get near it you can hear it scream
Best weapon by far in lower security is the Mosin. I used that up to security 5 just using ap rounds. Only problem is the sliders are a pain but overall amazing weapon

I thought I was getting good at this game until I got to level 3 and started getting my ass whooped again
Head shots do more damage to seekers and body/heart shots do more to fragment
Just about everything can be sold. Even packs of cigarettes, ammo, even if empty, will get you money. (Guitar is good $$$) Coming off of playing Resident Evil 4 for a crazy amount of time, I had amassed around 17mil so I was determined to loot everything everywhere in ITR. You can adjust settings to get you more money for missions if you want, also it is huge help if you extend the time between Tides. This way, you can make it through all the maps, hitting all the boxes and getting all artifacts that beep at you, etc. Before you know it, you will have 6 figures and all the guns, extra suppressors and all the ammo crates. Then ITR becomes your happy place that sometimes makes you scream the F word.
If youre low on cash, its actually a much better idea to save up for an ammo box, ammo type doesnt really matter that much if your're that low on cash.
It saves so much, especially if youre only using one gun.

2:00 you can adjust the zoom level of the camera by pressing the Y or B button to zoom or X and A to remove the zoom (Those are Quest controls but it should work with any other controller's equivalent buttons). A tip about the pictures is that they should be somewhat centered and the entity you are trying to take a picture of has to take up a good ratio of the photo. It shouldn't be out of frame but it doesn't have to take the whole frame either. It must not be too small tough, or else it won't work. You can be pretty far, the ennemy may be half covered by fog and it'll work, if the frame is right.
Also, at 8:05, you talk about giants, but I don't think that's a thing. It may refer to another ennemy tough. The "stomping noise" you hear is actually a fragmentation grenade stuck in a time loop and teleporting around, as well as exploding again and again. These are higly unpredictable and can go trough some walls and obstacles, so I would advise staying as far away from them as possible.
Edit: nevermind about the grenades, the stompers just blow up any grenades in your pouch and I always carry some just in case.
Bro stompers are not and have never been even hinted at as being fragmentation grenades stuck in a time warp, the lore literally says no one knows what they are, but they're invisible and massive.
@@shaneguy5275 Idk what you're talking about, I got killed by what I assume is the "stompers" everyone keeps talking about and it says I die because of the RGD-5 grenade. Unless the game decides to blow up the frag grenades in my pouch and that's what killed me? 😅

There's a snow mod on PC version name "Frozen Wasteland" but I call it "Xmas Wonderland" cuz it's SO BEAUTIFUL.

I'm 50 hours in and I'm only wondering how you will survive the kolkhoz like this when the giants aren't so invisible and not so killable

But cabinets are the true final boss of the radius.
When it comes to making enough money in this game, I recommend taking all the missions for a certain area at once, and just go on one big expedition to complete several at once, then repeat for the next zones. ( sorry but I dont remember if you already do this )

Weird to see how you play the game because at this point in the game I had a sks and was running a Glock with like 10000 dollars in the bank but I still got my shit rocked multiple times
Somehow the quest port of the game is more scary to me. I think it might just be the sheer emptiness.
pro tip: toss on some music when you're playing (outside of recording). makes it a lot less spooky.

quick tip: if you want to save money on a new AR if you can chad through the next story mission and get to the main objective i found a damaged AKM and a AK-74U, But be warned the mission is quite hard
I never stay in the radius too long and i keep 3 guns on me at all times
Haha loved the video, at the moment im security lvl 3 trying to get out of the factory because i got teleported to the furthest point from the exit and i have almost no ammo on my pistol, fortunately i am slowly getting out :)

Thanks! I have the render resolution set to the default for 90 hz in the Oculus app. The best way to geta performance boost is to set the Oculus_OVR_exe process to a high priority in the task manager window.

What are the graphics settings for ur game, I have the same specs except for the CPU it's a 5700x but image quality on the air link looks dookie
For security level 3 I recommend any one of the aks as they are all equal and very good and would say use the ak47 as it uses the same makes as the 74u and is a decent price
All the rifles you get on level 3 are the same, only the Aug and M4A1 are affected way more than the AKs when the quality of the gun is lower. I counted 1 AK jam to the M4s 5
stop using flashlight during day and even evening it gives you away to mimics and seekers

I get this from time to time. On my last video someone told me I sound like the narrator from arrested development- which is actually who I am attempting to mimic. But I guess it sounds a bit like habie too lol
@@Garzoku Maybe people wouldn't point to that if you wouldn't try to copycat every aspect of habbie's channel? Like choice of content, editing style, thumbnails style, speech and even voice. It's ok to be inspired by someone and to copy some of their techniques, but not to the smallest details. This is pretty much parasitizing, get your own identity.
I'm also genuinely annoyed of how youtube pushes your channel in my recommendations. I know why, and you do too.
