So beautifully and effortlessly danced. Georgia and Giovanni seem so natural together and move like they are totally in tune. Nothing about this looked forced or awkward.

Some comments r poisonous here. She didn't cry after cha cha cha nor after VW. She's comfortable with ballroom n she gets it right. Cha cha cha is totally new to her n specially when u r sick it's even harder to learn something already a hard. Some people lost their human side. Sigh.!

Sorry but how can she suddenly jump around for her marks in this dance yet couldnt do anything for her Cha Cha due to illness? She aint fooling anyone by trying to get a "sympathy" vote.

+mschrissi100 Because she was will they only had 2 days to learn both dances and clearly found the cha cha more difficult.
Really? Because she was meant to do the Argentine Tango & that got changed because she was " struggling" with it. And its not hard to learn a routine with a sore throat. Just keep quiet & only speak if necessary (or find another way to communicate) I used to dance so i know what im talking about.
+mschrissi100 I struggle to understand why you are behaving like this?? She was advised by a doctor to stay home so as not to spread it -- as it tends to be very contagious. She attended to the studio to learn her routines Wed & Thurs. Her partner has come down with it nonetheless. Nothing worse than someone acting the martyr & attending work while contagious -- and needlessly & carelessly spreading a nasty bug to all -- in her case, in time for the Finals. Your attitude is very confusing & downright caustic -- for whatever reason. Georgia certainly does not need any "sympathy" votes. I gather you "used to dance so you know what you're talking about" -- and you've since studied Medicine??
I have family member who were/are doctors so yes, i do know what im talking about. She didnt have to stay at home with her illness as you can still learn a routine whilest being ill. She could have very easily gone into the studio & watched Giovanni do the steps. But she didnt, her cha cha was awful and thats why shes trying to get the sympathy vote, because she was "ill". Her VW was full of basic mistakes too. You can tell the judges were trying to favour her this weekend because of it.
Still my favorite pairing of the season!
As they have done a VW-inspired American Smooth really well, I was expecting nothing but perfection on their actual VW here. Most impressed with the pivots followed immediately into a flerkl and the sheer dynamism in this (travelling across the dance floor) was a sight to behold. Excellent top line, footwork and overall flow. Is it a ten? I would say, very, very close. 9.5 for be sure (I am sure some judges would award this a ten).
It was boring compared to jay and Alionas how that cans score 4 extra points is ridiculous
Anna Simpson Not true. Georgia is much shorter than Jay but her movement across the floor was far greater than Jay's. Granted, Giovanni the pro helped a great deal in leading her across the with those turns, but even so even Gio is shorter than Jay and we have seen Jay covering the floor beautifully with other ballroom number, his foxtrot and later American Smooth had swing and sway as well, so in comparison I think Jay somehow came up short in his VW. You can blame producers for letting Georgia effectively repeat her routine as she did a fantistic VW-inspired AS not long ago, but you can't blame Georgia for clearly producing a much better VW compared with Jay in the semi-final...
***** I have made it clear several times in this channel that I have NO ballroom or latin dance experience, only decade of watching SCD and listening to the masterclass in its sister programme It Takes Two and after watching a decade worth of SCD, I sort of know what the judges are looking for. I may have spelt fleckrl wrongly, but I don't think my comments thus far about the couples' dances were far off, based on my scores and the judges' scores (I have to work on Saturday evening, so I can't watch the show live and rely on watching the clips from youtube as I am having 'break' from my work)...
+Scd Observer jay doesn't decide how much he walks across the floor or how he does it he is again I say TOLD what to do by producers and Aliona so you can't blame him if he went slow or fast or didn't cover as much ground on the floor that's not his fault he is simply being told what to do he should have been judged on the dance routine he was given not the routine he should have done which he doesn't get to choose at the end of the day
+Scd Observer omg so here I am arguing with someone who has less ballroom dancing experience than me who's only knowledge is from a show that is obviously fixed as the comments never match the scoring and a show that's judges have their favourites ehm Georgia ehm I'm just glad it's down to the public or supposedly it is
