    Hey Kellie!! You definitely have me LOVING those barrel knots too! ; ) The necklace is super cute and I love the tassel. I need to get a men's bracelet done and I have yet to get my design together...it's driving me banana's! Lol One thing I do know is that I really wanted the barrel and slip knot to be included. My customer is a more mature man and I'm thinking an adjustable one would be good for the ease of putting it on by himself. He left the design up to me...decisions, decisions! ; ) Have a great day...Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xoxo : )

    • @KelliesBeadBoutique

      Hey Kelly! The mens bracelet should be easy. Find a large hole bead and put it in the centre of your leather. Do a barrel knot on either side. Then add your slip knots. Easy peasy. Guys like simple. Give it a try!

    Suggestion... you might want to offer a tutorial box monthly or biweekly, where you send out items for a couple projects. So ppl can watch and do along with you.

      @KelliesBeadBoutique  4 роки тому +1

    • @robzombieshot
      @robzombieshot 4 роки тому

      @@KelliesBeadBoutique I saw another site with something like it here on UA-cam. I bet if you offer a monthly option... use a special name like " Kellie's BOM Club", BOM =Box of the month. Ppl that sign up like patreon monthly subscriptions that signed up to receive a box of the month. Like $10 a month? Must contact you to sign up. You odviously like reading your messages so your easy to receive notifications that they joined. Plus your patreon would show $$ added. Then you can make a video of beads you sent them. I'd watch other bead vids.. see what I'm talking about. I believe the girls English or Scottish. I will look for her. I just know she opens a box with beads then .... as you do.
      Ill get back to ya when i find her..
      But if you make a video asking ppl specifically if they'd be interested then try it monthly to bi or weekly. Offer options or others opinions.
      See who replies. They get a great deal and you receive a bit more monthly off it plus you know ppl will watch a video to learn what and why you sent all. It wont hurt to ask right?

  • @robzombieshot

    My bad.. its BEADIFULNIGHTS.... dollar bead box.
    Anyhow you can do something similar.

    • @robzombieshot
      @robzombieshot 4 роки тому

      Oh, I just thought of something, depending on the bulk prices of the stuff you use in the kits, do you recall the other suggestion a week or so ago on helping a nursing home? You could still offer it for an very discounted rate. Where you could make $$ or atleast come out even and write off what you can on taxes.. i dont know how Canada works on taxes. The point I'm getting at is, if other nursing homes sorta joined, say from a referral from a few homes you helped, then they can buy kits more at the prices you quote, plus they buy several a month. They may not have all the patience in 1 class each week. Like when i was in it, there were 6. I saw the week prior with 10. Anyhow, they all may not want to do a female necklace, so some might work on dif things or in a kit, you offer 2 dif bead actives. On color stickers marked for each project . Blue 1-10, yellow 1-8 etc..
      You can offer easy, medium and hard classes too. If ppl want to use wires, tools etc. Medium could be a mild use of tools on and off. Upper lever knotting and such.
      So if a nursing home is interested, if they bought 15 kits, with 2 or 3 projects, thats not 1 view on UA-cam but several views. From 1 location over time as well. Plus if they joined, you dont need to cut leather, just include a roll with enuf. They can cut it to length. Oh and easier projects are larger holed beads especially for shaking hands. Plus you can donate what you dont sell in the beads you put on the 1 table for discount .. mismatched stuff that doesn't sell. So the ones not wanting to do the UA-cam project can do whatever. Again not knowing tax write off in Canada. You can even do vids at a Vets, senior or local nursing home or centers. Thats a great way to get locals to see your box options and UA-cam vids that can view anytime. Anyhow, I'm just getting back on my feet.. i hope to return to a PT job vs SSI support. It sucks.. plus Trump's put more good ppl in the street that work, have kids or seniors, vets etc. The prices shot up way to high for many. California building owners are trying to make tenants p as y their ridiculous mortgages. They bought them riding the false trump bubble and its crashing. They need to file bankruptcy soon or kill themselves.. lol. Anyhow, my son and I are in that situation, but he works FT , we have no drug history, smoking or drinking yet ppl assume all in our situation are that way. Such is life, we go where he can work ft. Being a military family helps extremely especially the adjustment processes. 5 yr wait to get housing assistance.. .. sorry, off topic.
      I hope you can expand your business ... if you choose to do project boxes and need help, Id do my best to get the word around to local centers about it if they offer classes or want it. I was a USO volunteer for over 28 yrs. I really loved it and being around and helping others.
