Even then, this doesn't make much sense. Akaza would kill Rengoku and Giyuu, mark or not. In his fight with Rengoku, he was just toying with him, trying to get him to turn into a demon.

What I think:
Rengoku did stand a chance, if they could've hold akaza a lil longer, for the sun to burn him. It's just that he got away, which was the sad thing. Rengoku fought to the death, and kept declining akaza's offer - to turn him into a demon. While Rengoku, very badly injured kept akaza's arm in his hole wound, to keep him there for the sun to burn him.

Within the context of the imminently rising sun, Akaza would've died. Giyu's defense would've taken too long for him to figure out. And he lost when he had two hashira level fighters to fare against, and that was with the home advantage of the Infinity Castle.

Uh maybe, rengoku might train tanjiro at that point because of tanjiro asking about hinokami kagura well rengoku would look at it on letters or what that his father hide or might as well ask him but he didn't die right so his father is still the same but tanjiro might he able to soften him by you know his dramatic talk no jutsu level 1, and also rengoku have the closest match on tanjiro's hinokami kagura also his training is kinda hard that makes the love hashira that strong what if that mf tanjiro train under him what then he might also increase his water breathing forms because like i said hinokami kagura is the main source of all breathing, well that's just my opinion, but of course giyu is still there to train him😊

If Giyu would go to Mugen Akaza is taking them both easily since Giyu without his mark quite literly did 0 dmg to Akaza and it was 2v1 ._. with hashira lvl Tanjiro helping him. But overall its hard to even say since powerscaling in DS makes no logic. Bcs Tanjiro was easily taking on Zogakuten but all of a sudden in infinity castle he forgot how to fight. And than he remembers again how to fight against muzan .-.
Giyu (base) chopped off Akaza hands twice when he was saving tanjiro's ass. As soon as Giyu joined the fight, Tanjiro only got in the way. He tried to help Giyu (base) twice and was stunned twice and almost died. They will not defeat akaza, yes, but they are guaranteed to survive. They will kill him only if Rengoku sacrifices himself and Giyu blows off his head and akaza does not have time to escape from the sun. Hantengu easily humiliated Tanjiro, Genya and Nezuko in his strongest form, if not for mitsuri, he would have killed them in a few seconds.

@@dante_sparda2 read the manga again and you can clearly see that giyuu carried the fight. Tanjiro only came to cut off akaza head. Majority of the time tanjiro was having flashbacks about his pasf. Giyu barely got any time to rest. He was fighting akaza and saving himself and tanjiro ass.
To be honest tanjiro got saved by almost all the hashiras.
Giyu not only saved tanjiro against akaza but he also saved tanjiro when they first encountered muzan.
Now you all will come up with but tanjiro saved giyu during the fight which is absolutely true however sanemi also got saved by gyomei during their fight against kokushibo and sanemi also saved muichiro......
So yeah basically everyone saved eachoat some point.
But tanjiro is the protagonist and he got carried by majority of the hashiras otherwise he would have been a dead meat.
Arguably, they still gonna die. Giyuu said that permanently marked Tanjiro was already a pillar during their battle with Akaza in the infinity castle, and marked Giyuu was also having a hard time against Akaza. If both marked Giyuu and Tanjiro who's basically 2 pillars against Akaza that almost died from their battle, then there's no way unmarked Giyuu and Rengoku can beat Akaza which is also 2 pillars against Akaza
If giyuu went to the mugen train, giyuu and rengoku would be able to hold akaza till sunrise and akaza would escape.
If Giyuu were there, Akaza would've likely taken it seriously and just wiped the floor with them. The only reason Rengoku was holding his own in the original movie was because Akaza wanted him to turn into a demon.

As you’ve seen in the manga, giyuu was so fast that it made afterimages of him while fighting akaza and even mentioned it himself. And also akaza knew all the water breathing forms and giyuu was still landing heavy blows on him. But akaza eventually adapted to it later somehow.

He forgot Nezuko and Genya. Her transformation during the Entertainment arc would have happened in the Swordsman village arc. Genya would have been there too as he (if memory serves) needed either his gun fixed or more ammo. So he would have been there even if Mitsuri and Muichiro wasn't. And if Nezuko was never exposed to the sun then she would have also been helpful during the Infinity Castle arc also.

Although rengoku was strong being the 6th strongest hasihra at the time without any mark, it was impossible for him to win. Just for context Marked Giyu(3rd strongest hashira+ marked tanjiro clearly stronger than giyu with his newly unlocked transparent world) barely won against akaza. If Akaza hadn't stopped the regeneration of his head who knows maybe they would've lost(pure plot armor lol)

Base Rengoku does a strong warrior, might be somewhere around base sanemi. Yes, Akaza just toying with him and we will never knew how strong Rengoku actually. However Akza does hint Rengoku was special and had lot of potential. He also predict Rengoku might be level up a lot if he get more training 2-3 years and above if given time. And for sure he will become a beast if had those hashira's training, unlock DSM and See Transparent World.
But still, the truth is in Mugen Train Arc period, there will be no present hashira able to defeat Akaza, unless both Giyu and Rengoku able to restrain akaza until sun rise. And might be both of them survive but taking lot of serious injuries. Akaza was killed by plot armor. Even gyomei cant defeat him traditionally. In the final battle, both giyu and tanjiro unlock their dms and they are fully trained hashira level, still cant defeat Akaza.

I personally think that portion is bad writing. Sure, it's cool and all they died realizing how horrible they are, but I find it fucking ridiculous they die fair and square, and just say "nuh uh". It makes it seem really stupid. It's the same case for Kokushibo.

If an uppermoon is rightfully killed by one, LIKE THE LORE SAYS, does that mean they're allowed to just not die? The whole point of DS is that they're the underdogs, and it certainly didn't show with how much plot was saving their ass. Like I said, it's bad writing and you're too bad to see it. A few critiques
1. Why are Nezuko, Genya, Mitsuri, and Muichiro not at the Village? What prevents the two pillars from being there while Giyu is there? Additionally Nezuko travels with Tanjiro everywhere with the exception of the infinity castle arc and Hashira training arc.
2. Why is tanjiro needing to sacrifice himself? In this timeline, we have an addition of Shinobu, Rengoku, Muichiro, and Genya. Are these four individuals so useless to the fight that they have no lasting impact and tanjiro is forced to sacrifice himself? Additionally I believe that Tamayo and Yushiro would have had a similar role as they did in the original plot line. Yushiro would disguise himself as a demon slayer and fight alongside everyone during the final battle, and Tamayo would be apart of the ambush and use her and shinobu's drug against Muzan, therefore weakening him, as it did in the original plot line.

a lot of details where forgoten with this video like lady tamayo never gave the antidote to muzan so he was thousands of times stronger than what he was in the manga and muichiro and mitsuri never got to unlock their marks which would have made fights a lot more complicated in the end due to the strenght gap i think muzan would win or there would be a LOT of casualties like gyomey who would unlock the demon slayer mark would die during the fights since hes over 25 years old

First of all, Tanjiro wouldn't have gotten a sword at all because the whole reason he broke the Yoriichi type 0 was because the little dude (I forgot his name) wanted revenge on Muichiro for bullying him. If Muichiro wasn't there, he wouldn't have gotten his sword at all. Also, you forgot where Genya and Nezuko also helped the others defeat Hantengu. I don't think Hantengu would've even cut himself to make more clones because he is too afraid, lets just say that where Hantengu was seen was like normal in the original series where he was in the estate where Muichiro and Tanjiro were, except it was Giyuu who was there instead of Muichiro. Also, about the entertainment district arc, Obanai was there when Tengen was about to die, there could have been a chance he carried Tengen to the butterfly mansion and Shinobu, as the smart one cured Tengen.
