Thank you Sarah for another wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitching with us. I truly enjoyed seeing all your stitching. Awesome job. Happy stitching ❤.
Hi Sarah! Sending you my love and a big hug today. Your framed red sampler will always be a special memento of your love and friendship with Jean Lea. ❤ I don’t remember seeing your blue Long Dog with the Silks 4 U before, but wow I love it! The Long Dog I recently finished was also Silks4U in a similar shade of yours. Thank you for keeping me company today as I play with floss colors for Christy Barron. This sampler has been on my heart lately so I recently recharted the verse and now I just need to settle on floss and fabric to get it going. Happy stitching. -Leah Noel
You are always such a joy to watch! Congrats on your finishes 🎉and your pandemic is amazing! Everytime I see yours I wish I had started mine! 😂 see you very soon! ❤
Sarah!!!! This was a beautiful Flosstube! I am SO INSPIRED by your red samplers so I’m going to start one this week! I love you and those grandbabies!! XOXO Heidi 🥰😘♥️
You showed so many gorgeous, large WIP’s that I lost count!! Stunning stitching! Your framed and finished pieces are just beautiful and I would say you have a great start on your wall of samplers! I would love to spend time with you to sit next to you and stitch so that I could watch how you do such beautiful work! I hope your trip to The Attic will be so special. Sadly, you won’t see Jean; oh how I wish I could have met her! Have a wonderful time, and a great few weeks until I see you again! HUGS!!❤
Wow! You have worked on a TON this time. Great progress. It is always such a pleasure to see what you are working on and hear your happy voice. Keep on stitching, my friend. Best, K
Oh Sarah, all those red samplers make my heart sing! I love them and have a pile of my own patterns to get to one day. I did start Baldaquin Birdies because I couldn’t help myself and seeing yours tipped me over the edge 😉 Thanks for sharing all your stitchy goodness and your smile with us!
Ersillia FRAMED….YES. She is beautiful!! Sure wish I was meeting you at the attic…I love that shop!! Pandemic is one of my TBS(stitched). Yours has truly grown! You have a great group of WIPS to choose from. Safe travels going and coming home! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2025!!
Such a wonderful video. Sarah, you embody 'never admire quietly' in these videos - you are very generous with your 'platform' in highlighting the work of others. Thanks for this video, for all of the inspiration. Now if I can just steel myself not to start anything new for at least a little while - but so much inspiration!
Thank you for sharing my finished pieces. Your framed work of Ersilia is divine! Every time you show Pandemic, I want to finally start it. I should start it as a strand a day project. Happy stitching, sweet lady! 🧵🪡
Thank you for the video visit and make any changes to the chart that you would like! Your finishes and WIPs are beautiful. I've been working on various WIPs recently, and it's like visiting with old friends. Tonight, I am starting the February release of the Fox and Rabbit Mystery SAL. Safe travels and happy stitching!
Love your FlossTubes Sarah. Great to see all the shares, WIPs and finishes. Ersilia is simply stunning! I'm heading over to watch Arica next cos I really need to know how to stitch faster! I failed to finish my Blessing Sampler yesterday so I hope my stitching for the rest of the year isn't cursed now :( Let Stan know I also sing along with him :) Enjoy your time in Arizona, safe travels xx
I also got Christmas Delivery plus the called-for fabric, Alchemy, and I 'just' kitted it up yesterday! I am short 2 DMC colors, but I need to check my other kitted-up projects I've not yet started as well as my WIPS to see if I have the colors. I have a Master Set of DMC, many duplicates of for ease of kitting things up, so I may have them, if not, then it's a trip to Hobby Lobby for me as soon as we stop getting snow here in the thumb of Michigan! I can't wait to start it, the pattern appeals to me so much, I think it's gorgeous! The weather here, they called for less than 1" of snow, we ended up with 7"! It's lake effect as we are ON Lake Huron. The lake is about 600 feet away from me, or the stairs that take us down the cliff directly to the beach and lake, and this year we've had so much snow, my year-round walking on the beach has been halted, in addition to the severely cold temperatures! It's funny because I boast to everyone I walk the beach year-round, but I have not been able to this year! Michigan has had it's coldest winter this year since 2014! We've been lucky until now, but I so miss my walks/hikes in the winter for what I have to climb over when it comes to ice, boulders, rocks, and the change of the shoreline in winter! I have Stiff Person Syndrome, same disease Celine Dion has, and I've had it for 21 years now! I find walking on the sand, in particular,k helps to keep the muscle spasms at bay OR if I have them, then going out walking on the sand even in winter boots helps to relieve them! So yes, I miss my ability to walk the beach terribly so!!! I am currently pretty monogamous with a SAL, Hannah Attwater 1832 being Hosted by Caroline at Evertote! I bought their linen for this, pantonette 40 count, I have chosen to use the DMC flosses, and I am making tremendous progress! I started 11-25-24 after I received my linen! I love to stitch on this so much! I'll be posting a photo of my progress on Instagram hopefully tonight, February 1st! I usually post it on the last day of the month, but life happens!\ The other project I have going is Bluebirds of Happiness by JBW Designs! Such a lovely pattern and will fit right in here as we have a lot of bluebirds/bluejays here where I live! My neighbors across the street put in a bird feeder in the empty lot next to me in the rear, and there is nothing I enjoy more than hearing and watching the birds all take turns at the feeder! When I come across birdseed at stores I am able to lift, or is on sale, I buy a few bags and take them to my neighbor for my appreciation of his dedication to feeding the birds bringing so many varieties here to watch, see and hear! I can't wait for spring which draws a lot more birds to the feeder! Don't forget the squirrels who also like to feed there! Lol!!!! I LOVE the patterns you choose to stitch! Our taste in patterns is very similar! Oh! Back to Evertote! I also purchased Soaring with the Wind by 1897 Schoolhouse Samplers, the pattern, linen which is again pantonette 40 count, and I splurged and did buy the Roxy Floss Co flosses! Yay!!! That was my Christmas/birthday gift to me! I don't have anyone except one friend I exchange gifts with and do a tiny celebration with, I am not lucky enough to get to celebrate with my 2 adult children and grandchildren, long story I've come to terms with - their decision, not mine, so I look to cross stitch, the very thing I LOVE to do to make that my own celebration! I plan to do that pattern on one piece of linen, I think it's absolutely gorgeous!!!! The chart is tiny, oh my! It will definitely be a challenge with all the color changes! I'll keep you updated when I start that! I so enjoy your videos! Thank YOU for taking the time to make them and share with us! You are a joy to watch and your enthusiasm is contagious!! I thank you for that yet again! Happy stitching!!!! I apologise for any typos - I cannot see the computer screen because I have muscle spasms now from having to shovel that 7" of snow and salt! I also had my partners bathroom to scrub, shower included! Unfortunately he has Parkinsons and he cannot do any of that....I have a LOT on my plate, so cross stitching helps to ground me, calm my nerves, and make me extremely happy!! It always has, but especially right now since everything is ALL on MY shoulders to do as well as my own health issues of SPS! It can be quite the challenge! I am not complaining at all! I'm more than happy to do what I am, but sometimes it is a lot! I'll be the first to admit that! Lol!!!! Again, happy stitching!!!!!
Oh Joyous Day, it is a great legacy to include your daughters and grandchildren, kindly add Stan’s and yours too! I sing his opening song too. Never admire quietly - here, here. EARSLIA is beautiful as everything is. Thanks for a great video.
I loved seeing your Martha Evans! I had only been stitching for a year and a half when I stitched her on 40 count linen for the first time and now it is my go to fabric. Ill try to take a good picture of my framed finish and email it to you 💕😗
Sarah, another fabulous floss tube‼️❣️shares were so impressive just gorgeous! Wow 🤩 congratulations on Ersilia , Of course your stitching of WIP’S is amazing always a joy to see. Love seeing your family at end of video including Annie🐾🤗♥️ I wish for you a wonderful time at the Attic full of great memories of Jean the best teacher , mentor , friend any of us could have I will miss her but keep her in my heart forever……love & hugs to you my friend, LaNelle
So much to comment on! Terrific shares - it is always so joyful to see finished pieces knowing the joy it gives the stitcher. Eddie and Patsy is, of course, Absolutely Fabulous - it is definitely on my list. Thanks to Annie for the remind us the importance of hydrating ourselves😂🐶 I am pleased that you have such a lovely piece to remember Jean by… Love that French alphabet pattern❤ I hope your trip to Arizona goes well. Thank you for an evening of cross stitch !
Hi Sarah. Beautiful stitching, as usual. I love your large stitches. You are such an inspiration to me as I love doing BIG patterns as well. Thanks for sharing everyone's stitches too. I hate to do this but I have to say that the last two you shared, I believe we're transposed. I know this because I just kitted up "The Hummingbird Garden," a 4 part pattern published in the "Just Cross Stitch" magazine. So sorry to be critical at all; although it isn't that critical, just a misspeak. Take care and happy stitching, Pat Tackaberry❤❤❤😊
Hello, dear Andrew. Don’t you find Martha Evans fabulous? It was my first 40 count and I adore the smaller stitches and bright colors. Thank you for watching and your friendship. Happy stitching.
Love your flosstube and new mantra. How can we get Debs pattern? Love your ideas for O Joyous Day. Your stitches are beautiful . We were at the home show yesterday and I told a lady I liked her shirt (I’d rather be in my pjs and quilting) except I said I’d rather cross stitch. She looked first at me with utter shock then melted and said yeah I know. We need good kindness in the world.
It's amazing that you showed Ersilia's sampler today. It is gorgeous. Jean was touching your heart. 😢 I am joining in on One Stitch At A Time SAL and completed the first month's assignment on time. My Blessing Sampler is just stitches away from a finish. Phew! A thought on your Christmas Parade; if you leave the snow off under the Santa and sleigh, it looks like they are hanging in space to me, and left the parade behind them. 😂 Thanks, Sarah for a great FT. Enjoy your time at the Attic.
Hello, Kris. I do think Jean was touching my heart. Our last conversation was about Ersilia about a week ago. Congratulations on your blessing sampler. I did not make the finish by the end of January, but that is okay. You will love stitching on One Stitch at a Time. I just finished February’s section today. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching.
Awwww, your framed piece (Ersilia) created by Jean came out great, a wonderful & an extra special piece - - the frame is perfect. And all those Shares were gorgeous!!!
Good morning, dear Dee. Ersilia will always be a special piece for me. The shares this video were fabulous, right? Thank you for watching and always being there for me. Happy stitching.
I am always excited to see a new flosstube pop up from you! Your pieces are all so gorgeous and encourage me to get out those same pieces that I have as WIPs also. Thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm for stitching, it is contagious!
Hi Sarah you mentioned the Attic, I heard that Genie passed away yesterday Thursday. Is that true? I’ve never been to the attic or met her, but have heard such wonderful things about her. I’m praying her family!
Another great video to brighten my day! Tell Stan I sing along with him! Your FFO’s are spectacular as well as your WIP’s! Have a great time at The Attic, although it might be a little sad with Jean’s passing. Make the best of it! Love you!
Good morning, Elaine. I will share your remarks with Stan. The trip will be bittersweet, but we all have so many wonderful memories of Jean. I think it will be healing as well. Thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy stitching.
I’m still giggling at Vince and his yellow gloves. You need to get them in the kitchen early so they can be self sufficient later. Your framed piece is gorgeous. I just heard the sad news about Jean. Will you be postponing your retreat?
Hi Sarah! I so enjoyed our last zoom together. What a joy. Your framed pieces are just lovely. I think I am going to get out my Ersilia's Sampler and begin to stitch it in honor of the much beloved Jean. I never met her, but so many people have spoken of her with such praise and warmth, that I think it would be good to do that in memory of her. I have been steadily working on my InkCircles project and make good progress. I do love stitching on it, but I can take a little break and give Ersilia some love. I am so glad you spoke again about the Red Dress again. I think I am going to see if I can find that copy of Piecework to read more about it as well. My goodness, but you did a lot of stitching this month! I am amazed. I absolutely love the MFE chart that you are doing in that vibrant peacock blue thread. I am sorry but I forgot the name already. Oh, that is so gorgeous. And Eddie and Betsy - every time you bring that out, the fabric just blows me away. I love the color and how the thread colors just pop on it. Mmmm... You are going to have a stunning finish. And Pandemic!!! When you first showed that, you were in the upper right hand corner and now you are in the lower left hand corner! It is just beautiful. So you are planning to do another LongDog... Well, I for one cannot wait to see what you will chose! Oh Could go on forever, but I must stop. Sarah, thank you for your joy, your enthusiasm, your warmth and genuine heartfelt gladness in life and doing what you love. You are a great inspiration to me. Enjoy The Attic. It is on my bucket list to go.. Maybe I will drag my sister there to have someone to go with and witness my being gobsmacked....😳 Be well, and Take good care. We love you too!🥰
You are always a bright spot in my day and bring nothing but good vibes to my stitchy spot ! Love you my friend 🌹🌹🌹🌹
