My buddy had 2 different Passats b7 and b8 and now a new Superb. Quality wise they are on the same level. Obviously on the base Passat you get more features, because the Passat costs also more. For example base Passat has 3 zone climate control, superb doesn't. But otherwise they are on the same level. My buddy has now a 200hp TDI superb and he says that it feels completely different from his previous 150hp Passat. The Passat is stable but I'd say that the superb is on the same level if not better. The steering wheel on the superb it's not too much light or too much strong it's just a perfect mix of comfort and sportiness. Ok, the superb it's definitely not a sport car but handling wise it's actually really good. My buddy has the 4×4 kombi version. I don't know if it is because of the fact that the 4×4 has better handling than the standard superb. And also the superb is more roomy than the Passat, but it's not so difficult to park. Exterior wise it depends on your own taste

@@markking3779 a friend did a remap on that engine and got 20hp and +50nm and I'd say it's pretty safe. His consumption dropped by .5L/100km and the "pull" is noticeable. For the 190 jump I'm not sure if it can still be done with just a map. But sure. With a newer mileage car shouldn't be any problems.
@@markking3779 you can check with a service if they do a backups of an original map. In that case you can restore the original and not loose warranty in case of need.
It's sound from the lines on asphalt. They are made to make sound to warn you that you are leaving your lane. In reality its only annoyance and little to do with safety.
