Basic plodder , stays in front of his opponent in a high guard, no level changes, no angles...simply trades punches with much smaller fighters...that's this guys secret to success at 168...being 6'2 and 200 lbs with a massive reach advantage while fighting marginal competition and/or pillow fisted fighters. Benavidez is no power hitter...he is an attrition puncher...he NEVER takes people out with one shot...it always a build of exhaustion and gradual punishment over half a fight
