What I love about Ale's vocal solo is angelic her voice comes off sounding on this part. It's interesting how similar their voices can be harmonizing while each having very distinctive sounding voices. So far I've yet to see Ale display the vocal power of her older siblings, but she's blessed with the melody all the same. It's not widely talked about, but they young ladies have been receiving some voice coaching. I don't know to what extent, but they're all very good with technique. "Evolve" is a huge favorite within TWA, but I find the melodic delivery of this song more to my taste. Don't get that confused that "Evolve" doesn't get me fired up. That song is so incredible, but "Choke" has to do with being overwhelmed and at this time in my life I'm relating to that particular feeling a LOT. So the song is dear to me. This professionally recorded/presented version is like a brand new song to me. Nothing really different from the original, but it punches differently and brings attention back to how hard the song does rock. Lastly, "Choke" really showcases Dany's vocal power leaving me amazed again.
All I know about Ale's shirt is that it's so loud that I can barely hear the guitar. As to the vocals: Dany did all vocals for the recording, but Ale apparently will be singing that part live.

This version is awesome, I love the fuller sound it has, this was recorded at Victoria Records in Monterrey, Mx. They have recorded other songs there but Lava Records is their new label. I just love this song, but I love Evolve even more. The part where Ale sang, wasn't on the studio version but I was on the live one, which made it even more special, I need more Ale singing. Ale has sang lead on the songs *River's Soul. Hunter* & *Red Hands Never Fade* LIVE (video's on UA-cam) but not on any studio recordings. Ale doesn't like singing lead but will help out Dani with some songs. It's a surprise treat for us when she sings lead for us fans.
Nice! Recorded for a School of Rock event to raise money to combat teen suicide. The studio is Victoria Records in Monterrey, MX. Not their record label. Ale sings that part only in live sessions. Not on the album.
They are perfecting this song live, getting better each time. Choke is great but Evolve is pure fire and I can’t wait to jam to that live “soon, this song is now in rotation on Sirius Octane and several large market radio stations. 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘

I like how on the harmonies when Dany goes high, Pau goes low and vice-versa. I believe the Ale solo vocal was originally sung by Dany in the official music video, but it looks like they're giving "little" sister that duty now. 👍😎
I be thinking I heard Dany say that in the studio when recording the album she did all the vocals except on one song that David did the male voice you can barely hear in the background.

I agree on the sound completely. I think the performance and mix was great. Yes, Ale does sing on this, just not in music video for some reason - with Dany in background with echo. And yes, I can sing while drumming but as folks don’t like my singing as is, let’s just say I excel at singing poorly while drumming, which is why I never had a live mic. OK then, TMI, I guess. 🙁 good comments as always. Waiting impatiently for The Tour!

Ale sings that part in live performances to help Dany, getting from the high notes she is singing to the low notes that fast is really difficult.
