- HE REVEALS Meaning Behind Eminem - Lucky You ft. Joyner Lucas
In this video, we talk about what Eminem reveals in his new song "Lucky You ft. Joyner Lucas". Joyner Lucas starts off the song with his verse and him dissing Logic. Eminem who is currently having beef with MGK, also went on to diss Drake in the song "Lucky You ft. Joyner Lucas". With the new release of Eminem's album, Eminem has been dissing many rappers in the industry such as MGK, Drake, and Lil Yachty. No rappers besides MGK have answered back to Eminem's disses. MGK released "Rap Devil" to answer back to Eminem's original diss in "Not Alike".

I dont care what anyone says, eminem is the greatest rapper of all time.
@black manta preach brother preach
My top 3 rapper: (I know people would have 2Pac or Biggie in this, but I don't like them too much)
1. Eminem
2. Royce Da 5'9"
3. Joyner Lucas???
@@jack8698 those are my top three favorite rappers too
@@jack8698 jus askin are u famalair with Killah Preist?
@@danielbrady4524
No... idk who that is
Who else thought this was gonna be an interview?😂
😂😂
Lol
It’s funny but so true
Got me
Me
Him and Joyner need do whole album together nice
i agree with that bro em. & lucas need a whole album just like i think em & 50 needs to do a whole album also i think it would be a great hit
Yea
dude, like watch the throne 2. they do sound good together.
Charles Rivers would rather like one with 50 or royce
@@erty2389 He already made one with Royce.
Eminem doesn’t sneak diss if u saw his interview u would know and he says that he will always have drake in the good to him because he did something for his daughter.
In The Air yeah does anyone actually know what it was
Eminem respects Joyner because as quoted from Eminem “I saw myself inside him”
That kinda sounds wrong
@@trrk- Lmaooo
He also said he saw mgk and we all know how that turned out
Ayo-
The drake thing is false Eminem said in his interview with sway that he wasn’t dissing Drake at all Eminem said drake will always be in his good graces because Drake did something for his daughter‘s birthday
Na you must be DEAF Didn't know that Em Diss DRAKE and his BULLSHIT TODAY RAP STYLE .
@@v.t1947 And your bullshit grammar.
josef steiner as long as Em was okay and didn’t diss the f out of him 😂😂
Pretty sure he was saying it wasnt a diss as far as drake is a shitty rapper. It was bringing into question if Drake wrote his own music and what talent drake actually had. He was trying to take the harshness out of what he said about drake in the song during the interview, but he didnt deny it was about drake. He just said that rap is so different now, he doesn't know what's real anymore, he finished this part off by saying he would just put the mic down and retire if he couldnt write his own raps but that the way rap is now it doesnt matter what talent you have.
EvoK Ironman when he said you have ghost writers he started dancing like him
Joyner, Logic, and Eminem should’ve made an album
He already said he got no beef with Drake in the sway interview. Eminem words himself on sway was Drake has done him a very big favour.. so get your facts right this a bogus channel
jakz si6made FACTS*
@@GamingBallz ha
Ummm.. Stealing the show and sorry if i took forever?(Fall) How 'bout that? I know what Em said in the interview.
Drake* isn't the only artist in forever ;) lol
Bottom line is Em doesn't have beef with Drake.
EMINEM & JOYNER LUCAS are Fighting a WAR againts all the MUMMMBBBBBLERS bwuahahahahah
Right ▶
Logic DoSenT mumBlE
The mumble rappers aren't even fighting back tho
honestly i wanna see him react to NBA Youngboy or Quando rondo or Youngeen Ace
@@iseya3400 mumble rap is made for and by lazy retards... How could they possibly respond? It wouldn't make sense
I think Eminem accepted to do a collab with Joyner cause Joyner is the only real Eminem left
Joyner and royce are 2 of the few that can keep up with em.
Hopsin has the potential
He states he sees a young Em in Lucas which is why he took Lucas under his wing
The last real Slim Shady
What about Logic?
Em said directly that he wasn’t talking about drake, your just reaching
Did he film Lucky you in Detroit?! That's just cause he lazy, HE STILL LIVES IN DETROIT! xD Jk, he stays true to his roots! Cred!
I mean in a way Eminem is right in many ways and u can’t really blame him for being honest keep it up Eminem
The ghost line is him staring the fact he doesn't know what's real anymore, bars go over everyone's head lol
Dude, so many of Em’s bars off this album went over people’s heads.
i think that you're right about Em saying that the whole rap game mimics one another. in the chloraseptic remix on eminem's verse he says "now adays, every flow, every cadence sounds the same" and on kamikaze he says that every one just copies one another.
Eminem wasn't born in Detroit he grew up there but wasn't born
Wasn't Em born in Kansas?
He was born is st. Joseph Missouri
But he was raised in Detroit
Existed Scarab I was about to comment that but then I saw yours
He didn't grow up in the area the video was filmed either.far from it
It was a pretty good song idk how MGK would ever think he could compare to Eminem unless it's was accually to help his career as a rapper but that is besides the point Marshall matters could turn a turd to gold
Well he did think up Slim Shady while he was shitting, so metaphorically you’re correct. Haha!
In Jamaica Someone who is red eye means they want what you have.
No one cares fuck off
Adam N calm down
Adam N Shut the fuck up
Really! That's cool, i'm going to ask my jamaicans to confirm lol. But that is interesting
Matthew Hall I can confirm it’s true
4:28 "As you know Eminem was born and raised in Detroit."
FALSE.
Why
Missouri baby
Right?!?!😅😅😅😅
I'm glad he joined up with Joyner he hard boi both of my favorite rappers together Joyner I hope u join shady records
Em even said on the interview he isn’t dissing drake. He said drake has done something for his daughter and it meant a lot to em so Drake is safe in em’s book
Eminem respect Drake as a performer and person. He even said it in the interview with sway...
Frank you need to see what drake dose to other people
In the interview with Sway Eminem said that he saw Joyner Lucas like 5yrs prior at like a BET thing. When he was making this album he thought about him because he was so memorable. Why would Eminem steal the credit from an up and coming artist?
Ayanna Knight it in a way works better for Joyner if Em takes the credit for the song and puts it on his album, instead... As it would get more hits, which means more exposure for Joyner.
Eminem said for personal reasons, him and drake will always be cool.
The red eyes are mumble rappers
You mean retards? Well... they are basically the same thing
Mumble rappers be like usfhejfbfwibfuebfudbhbehhej
The red eyes are referring to all the new rappers acting demonic
Sure was. Joyner has a new fan here and sure many many more. 🔥
Lucky,How come I keep watching it Vids but finally subbed after like 3 months lol.
Em admits in the interview with Sway that he wasn't dissing Drake
My dude there was something wrong with what you said. Em wasn't born in Detroit he actually was born in Saint Joseph, MO. But other then that its pretty good information lol.
Chris bell this rings a bell
It felt like a Joyner song. One of my favorite songs all year. Dope video. 🙏🏽
You didn’t mention the FACT that Eminem said in his interview with Sway that “Drake will always be in his good graces”
The Diss is for all the so called rappers use ghost writers... Em Throw a stones into the Sky who may get hit don't be mad..
i just thought it was a metaphor for how whatever you do the fans will emulate it and you should be careful
Lucky love your vids keep up the great work man
Did Eminem just dab 🤦
Yes.
T _Monster666 They did it on purpose, they wear Fortnite/PUBG style and did those moves.
Purposely jesus
T _Monster666 yes twice
Fuck yeah he did
I can tell you what the red eyes represent straight up. It's everyone has their eye's set on one goal, being the best, but NO ONE can measure up. It's the same with them all looking the same, but yet they aren't different enough to make the impact that they want. Well at least that't my take on it, but seems to make sense.
You don’t know your fact before you post videos. Do your research man, don’t listen to what other people think go and do your research
Jerid Wallace this makes no sense, doing research would imply looking what other people have typed online.
there all stans and they are fallowing him. MGK might be one
I thought they were stan's as well
I SUBSCRIBED and turned On post notifications
Wasn't born in Detroit,
(Edit) But he might as well have been :)
This guy never does any actual research.
Dude is your script just the genius breakdown of the song?
Selling the soul is a metaphor. It realistically means that you invest everything that you possibly can into your career. It drains you. You stay up writing lyrics at night and the days on tour, working on projects. Recording videos. Dealing with the media. Beefs and the lawsuits and critics. Traveling around the world away from your family. He's saying he had to work his ass off to get them Grammys.
"I SUBSCRIBED"
Lucky I hope for a win.but I got to say you say it so straight.thanks for keeping me updated
‘Lucky’ you woo
Great video like the editing
Joyner really needs a grammy
Hope to see Joyner, Kendrick, J. Cole, Logic and the Goat Eminem in one song and music video.Thats Ultimate DOPE🔥
The red eye creacher are his demons following him with every movement makes sense huh.👹🤔🤔
"lucky" let's get that iphone
Lucky
If em says it wasn't a shot at drake, it wasn't a shot at drake. He isn't scared to admit who he's dissing. I think it's crazy that people sit there & assume rappers are dissing someone or that rappers have beef with one another when they actually don't.
selling your soul isnt literal. selling your soul could just mean doing something against your principles.
Research Ariana Grande. I think that’s about as literal as it gets.
Nope it's literal
It's literally selling your soul in exchange for power, fortane, and fame
ana arias "It could just mean this or that" or it could just be...literal?
What you said makes sense about it being Joyner’s song… It doesn’t really sound like an M&M track to me. But it’s still great.
"Lucky" and good to see that Em is getting back on his game
HOW can you sit down and make a video about what WE missed, when you missed everything?
Like its my bday first
First
Eminem and Joyner together is insane and I've been waiting for a collab from these two since I heard joyner before he popped off
Eminem flat out said he doesn't care about ghostwriting and said Drake is forever in his good graces.
Drake is save... from Em..for something he did for his daughters. so he might be jabbing the whole..industry.
I learnt alot from the video!!!
Hey, Dude if you're Reading my comment please, Pin it , I'll be glad
And *Lucky* !
Eminem doesn't sold he's soul for Grammy another artist sold he's soul to get Grammy he is rapping in sarcasm you didn't get it that verse properly
No, eminem actually started 'losing his soul' because of how much he hated himself for making the songs kings never die and phenomenal
Ghost writer line seems like a Rice Gum diss
Why would Em care about YT rapper... RiceGum isn't even on his radar. RiceGum's pretty dope imo.. Others won't think so. But Idgaf
talking about drake
N3PPY no
Shinigamixx Dominique ur actually an idiot
Sirlagzalot32 Drake diss! Drake was the one who openly didn’t care about admitting to a writer. He likes Drake but he doesn’t like what he’s done to HipHop. It’s been sensitised and turned feminine.
I believe it was filmed in Detroit because that is where Em became the slayer. He said “and I might as well because I am going to end up being a villain again”
Eminem wasn’t born in Detroit
Kris Stone did anyone ever tell you that you are very smart? Na didn't think so
Kris Stone your very smart
He was mostly born there but he wasn’t born born there he was mostly there
Kris Stone when he was first born in Missouri.
Great job i jus sub i thought recognized those building sweet that it was shot in Detroit
No one cant beat Em hes The legend and the G. O. A. T.
I dont think this actually watched the whole sway interview.
It’s kinda funny how on both eminems songs that dissed the grammys was nominated for a grammy and one of then won
There's nothing worse than having somebody come commentate over the real video
Eminem actually wasn’t born in Detroit, he was born somewhere in Missouri, I can’t remember where. And then he moved around a few times and didn’t actually move to Detroit until I think is early teens. I may be wrong on the age there but whatever.
He declined that drake was ever meant in his interview
You shoudlve added audio for us to know which part you're talking about.
5:53 I thought that computer had fortnite on 😂😂😂 lol
Great video although I caught one common misconception em wasn’t born in Detroit tho he was raised there
I dont know why everyone is saying lucky but I'll say it too. "Lucky"
Ok so to me Joyner is talking about how he wants all this stuff like a Grammy and more. Eminem eventually comes in with his verse telling him it isnt worth it. Just my take.
Probably the reason they put it on Eminem album is it would get it out there more
Honestly their verses are like past and present a young person aspiring and a older person who's past the bs
I believe when Em said he sold his soul to get em, he was talking about how he spent his life rapping as he did in his song "25 to life"
I'm happy that Maurice got a song with Marshall. Big ups to my Worcester heads!
The red eyes can mean how every rapper nowadays is stoned all the time.
Em actually confirmed that he liked Drake and that the song wasn't about him.
I really hope I'm "LUCKY", if you catch my drift.
Em admitted he copies rap styles years ago. 'I bite your motherfukin style just to make it better'. Slim shady
red eyes represent being "High"
If u think he dissed drake u didnt watch the interview. He specifically said he didnt and even went on to say that drake did something for his daughter that he cant thank him enough for.
Join our lucas.
Red eyes for the overuse of drugs in the rap industry in these days
What most people dont know is Eminem was born in KCMO
But he did sell his soul later on after making his first successful album, but everyone artist who is famous has sold his soul
I think the red eyes are cameras and it's like we're watching them as if it's a video
He didn’t mean that he made a deal with the devil but some of the bars has things he wishes he never said
I SUBSCRIBED!!
EMINEM DOESNT DISS DRAKE ITS IN THE SWAY INTERVIEW 🤦♂️
First. this collab was nice asf Joyner Lucas and Eminem
Eminem wasn’t born in Detroit...he was raised in Detroit (Warren more like) however. Just a clarification. He was born in Missouri and spent time living there and Michigan. Going back and forth as a child. Eventually staying in Michigan before his teens.
I'm sure Eminem gives Joyner all the credit he deserves on that song that Joyner planned to release. No doubt about that, since Em believes Joyner is one of the best of this generation.
