Yihuan is my 3rd the most favourite concubine here. She was well versed in the literature, got her own judgement on things happened, did not harm anyone. the saddest thing that happened to her was loosing her baby over a superstition and suspicion of the Emperor. What pushed her though finally was the realisation that her utter devotion to her husband would not shield her from the greatest harm from him. in loving the Emperor she gave it all, but lost herself in the process, so she did not see the sense in living after she got to know the betrayal of the Emperor. Very tragic fate she had, yet she is still one of the most iconic people from the show.
