Thank you so much for this video! Please help clarify my understanding of the relationship between "git commit -m update app name" and "git checkout -b update-name" In my understanding, "git checkout -b update-name" was you creating a new branch. However, after the changes were made and you used "git commit -m update app name". I thought we were going to use "git commit "update-name" as the command to push. Thank you in advance
When I used the `git push` command on my Linux server, even though I entered the correct password, the code didn't get pushed to GitHub. However, when I used a new token, it worked. Why did this happen?
GitHub require a token for authentication purposes over passwords. This is why it worked when you used the token. Definitely noted for a future episode
literally does not work. I press create repository and it does not look at all like what you showed us. it just says "quick setup- if youve done this kind of thing before"
"I'd love to know how I can ask Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript developers to contribute to my project. Is there a feature on your website that allows for such requests?"

Are you going to make one about image files that display on GitHub but not on the live page? I'm none too bright & the substack answers confuse me.
