Great video, thank you!!! There's so little material in decent and any English at all, about continental models... How about the interior lighting, is it switched on and off by functions or it is just lit when on tracks?
The interior lights is from the tracks - I suppose this is an answer to the rest of coaches in the train. It starts getting difficult if you have to have a decoder in every coach
@@digitalcareline True but would be nice to have it switched on/off by a function. Specially given the Plux22 decoder applied. Current conducting couplings sort things out. You will find such solution in Jägerndorfer bilevel coaches with interior lighting. I guess Roco is not that clever...
The coaches were built by HobbyTrade (Now owned by HMB) Roco had no hand in their design and construction. Electronic couplings are good - but limiting if you intend to sell individual coaches and not full packages (These German sets do not always include the cab control car and you will need one coach with a conventional coupling to the loco)- You have to be very careful when purchasing Trix illuminated coaches now as you must have the end car for any of it to work - There are pitfalls wherever you turn with coaches. Plus you are building in more cost for DC modellers
@@digitalcareline Roco had nothing to do with Roco models... sounds too complicated for me. I agree, you have to be vary careful when purchasing any model. All are different and based on different technical solutions. That is why I asked about interor lighting in the first place. You can never be sure with manufacturers these days, eventhough so spend more and more money on this. As you have also noticed instructions are not quite clear.
It gets even more complicated Roco originally purchased the models from Hobbytrade. Hobbytrade was a Danish HO model manufacturer, Hobbytrade was then sold the HMB who make Lazer cut card kits Just to be clear, they are not Roco designed coaches.
