in my opinion, Purrple Cat is not only one of the best artists in the lofi genre, but also a music wizard cat in general. The vibes are like honey, peanut butter, jam and chocolate all together! 💜

I know I'm not the first to say this, but honestly, Purrple Cat is one of the few LoFi artists who makes music good enough to just listen to it in general. Not just when I need to relax (though that's *certainly* a good time to listen to it), but just for the sake of it. No LoFi music is really technically complex in any way; the whole genre is, in a good way, intended to be kind of basic and repetitive. Something that's too distinctive is distracting, a quality that LoFi music doesn't want to have. Purrple Cat, however, manages to balance the fine line between the basicness and repetitiveness of typical LoFi music with a blend of their own clear style. This enables it to achieve that effect LoFi music is trying to have, while still being interesting enough on its own to focus on. Genuinely some of the best LoFi music out there, period.
P.S: Midnight Snack is definitely my favourite LoFi song. :D

Las't night i used this álbum to sleep and My two Cats hopped on to the bed and slept with me, they aren't the Best of Friends and one doesn't sleep with anyone so for me it was a magical moment.

Purple Cat also helped me process things....a lot of trauma and pain. Music is the language we all know.

In middle school, I searched some Lofi on UA-cam to relax. This is when Distant Worlds was the first Purple Cat album I've found. I found her/his music with very emotional vibes, especially Finding Myself(My favorite music of the album). One year later(now), I came back to see my favorite album(Distant Worlds), it was nostalgic but the way it throw me back to my 2022 memories was too emotional that I almost cried. Purple Cat, as my favorite artist, I just want to say that Your music will be always in my heart and I will never forget you. Thank you!

This album is astonishing, not surprising seen as it's coming from Purrple Cat. Every single song is amazing, but my personal favorites are missing you, finding myself, lunar eclipse, and alien sky. I love how you put together these songs, from the sizzling, rain, etc in the background to the main instruments themselves, its absolutely stunning how you are able to capture so many emotions into a song! Overall, the parts of your songs I liked the most in this was the wavy parts, like at 3:37. they make me feel like I'm on a ship, or a car on a bumpy road, swaying from side to side as I relax and watch the trees go by, watch the ocean waves ripple towards the shore... really makes you think about the astronomically small chances of life, don't it?
