- Hello, House Flipper 2 is here. This is the first house I've bought so of course I had to renovate it with a pastel theme haha. I kept the layout pretty similar to the original as well, still getting to grips with it and I've been messing around with the custom building in sandbox mode. If you've played it, what do you think so far?

The painting is way better in the first game. It is so frustrating in this one, and it takes a long time to build a wall. I like that they took away the plumbing part and love the "copy and paste" for items. Love that we can tear down outside walls and build half walls. I also love how you can put items on something and then move the whole thing without everything falling off. I love how you conect certain lights to certain switches. The houses are a bit small but i am sure they will get bigger. I like 90% of the new one.
I do like the painting in the first one too but I also love that we can paint individual squares now even if it's a bit finicky, the copy and paste aspect along with changing the colours of an item once it's already down is something I really love and moving items without anything falling of is such a nice change and time saver! Hopefully it will only get better 😊

Really like the colours you've picked and I know it's a starter home and getting used to the new controls and choices will take time but I'm super excited to see what you can create in this! 😍
Thank you so much!! It just had to be pastel colours haha, I can't wait to play some more I have so many ideas that I want to try out for custom builds and so many colour choices haha it's good so far and I can't wait to see what they add in the future item wise 😊
I haven't tried sandbox mode yet, but im really enjoying thr story mode, and im just getting use to the differences between both games, I do love the fact that we can build any kind of wall now, eg, half walls, also love the fact that we can place the tiles pretty much any way we want, i do splash backs all the time in my builds and just love the total freedom we have.
Yeah I also love that we can tile/paint any sections we want so we are not forced to have backsplash with just white or grey now haha, different wall sizes is also a huge plus 😊

That would be great! I know you can download other player made homes on mod io but I don't know if you can upload other things there as well ^^
This must be my favorite flip yet! I had no idea I’m pastel fan until now 😂❤ I love this game as I loved HF1 but I miss in game before and after shots. It’s shame they got rid of it as they did remove the little repairs and assemblies (leaks, heaters..)
Thank you!! The before and afters were really nice but sometimes off if you built walls in the wrong places haha, I don't mind so much about not being able to actually install items like the showers, sinks and so on I like just being able to put them down and move them about 😊
I'm seriously so bummed out they didn't make House Flipper 2 for Mac... I'm such a huge fan of the game, and I've no possible way of playing this one. I love that you have so much freedom in terms of color palette now. I'm so jelly 🥹
That's a shame I didn't realise it's not been released on mac, hopefully they will in the future! All the new colours are great ^^

I love this build. I love colorful homes, rather than the dreadful white and gray that's eroding modern houses these days. Luckily for me, my parent's home is painted orange and green in the main living quarters
Thank you!! I love mixing it up sometimes, I love creating bright and pastel homes but I also really like making modern ones with little pops of colour haha, that sounds cool ^^
I loved your construction, it was very beautiful! Do you know how to let the game stay at night?
Thank you! The game doesn't allow you to choose between night or day I think the only time option we have at the moment is game time or real time (hopefully they will add being able to choose) it's just a case of waiting until it gets dark in game, I forgot to wait for daylight when I toured this one haha.

I love the game so far, I can't wait for them to add even more items like curtains, more doors, maybe even more furniture options! The only real complaint I have is that I wish you could make the furniture go transparent when placing floor tiles, as I usually put furniture in first and then putting a floor in after and not being able to place them in a spot occupied by furniture is a pain. But still very much liking the game and can't wait to see where they go with it.
Same here! I also build the exact same way haha and it's something I've mentioned too that I'd really like if the furniture went transparent like in hf1 ^^

Hey jelly! Was anxiously waiting for your first build! I really do love the new house flipper but I can’t help but still prefer the old animations and graphics, I suppose it’s just such a huge change! The spray bottle is also a little slow haha, but the possibilities are limitless and that’s amazing! I hope we can reply the storyline because I’ve found collectible beavers and have maybe missed a few because I was unaware of them 😅 I’d love for you to make a house for me to flip! You made it look beautiful as always, exciting for the future this is just the start ☺️☺️

I still love the first one and I'll definitely still play and build there but it's exciting to have a new one, lots to get used to haha the items are a little limiting too furniture wise but can't wait to see what more they add. I didn't know there were collectible beavers! I'll have to keep an eye out haha. I'll definitely try to make a house an upload it some time, I've not tried out the trash generator yet 😄
@@ChaoticJelly I noticed a little beaver on the my first house flip mission, it was hiding on one of the shelves :) there’s an achievement to collect them all 😄 for sure they will eventually add more items, still would have loved to have a snow surface too! If you ever do make a property for us to flip I will for sure be downloading :) what programme do you use to record as well?
Oh that's awesome haha, yeah I would love a weather system or some way of choosing the weather in game😊 I'm excited to try and make a 'job' house haha, I use NVIDIA ShadowPlay to record.

how did you get differnt hands?
From settings probably
As far as I'm aware they don't have different hand options in this like they do hf1, I never saw anything in the settings for it but maybe they will add something in the future ^^
@@ChaoticJelly the reason why I ask is because i saw that your hands arn't gloved and look mor like female hands but my hands are gloved and look like more mens hands, unless at the start there is option of boy or girl that i missed, I dont know. Anyway love your house very beautiful.
Oh yeah there was an option between a female or male character, I didn't know that the male hands would be gloved. Thank you so much!

Yeahh carpet would be great, I'd like multiple sizes to each of the rugs too, unless I'm missing something they only come in 1 size ^^
I don't know how y'all are playing this game, I can't even get it to load all the way before sending me back to the steam home page.
You could try and reinstall or verify the game, you could also check the steam forums to see if anyone else is having the same issue. Hope you get it sorted!
